1. 2. 3. 4. The joy of the Lord, which includes hearty laughter, is the secret to my strength and longevity. (See Nehemiah 8:10.) There is hope for every person (including me) and every situation. I consistently ignite hope in others and in myself. I lead a ministry that is increasing in joy and hope. (See Psalms 100:2.) I am replacing the lies that lead to hopelessness with truth that creates hope and joy. (See Romans 15:13.)

C UL TUR E R EI NFORCEMENT
Teach a message on joy. Using the concepts taught in the book, LETS JUST LAUGH AT THAT, have a time where your leadership team laughs at lies together. Close a meeting with prayer ministry time specifically focused on hope. Invite people who are struggling with hopelessness to receive prayer and encouragement.

ASSESSMENT
JOY

1.

What does joy mean to you? How is it different from happiness?

Joy is something on the inside not dependent on what's happening around me. It's also a choice an act of faith. To be lled with truths. Happiness can be the result a need met, a desire fullled etc. In other words most of the time its dependent on the outside. There is always happiness in joy but not always in happiness there is joy.
2. Where would you like to experience more joy in and around you?

More joy in handling difcult people, tough situations, in waiting for answers breakthroughs and desires.

3.

What does serving the Lord with joy and gladness look like to you? (See Psalm 100:2.) On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 being the most joyful), what is the level of gladness that you demonstrate in your life and ministry?
