The fee prescribed above is to be paid at the time of Counseling either in the form of DD drawn in favor of GITAM University, payable at Visakhapatnam or by paying cash at the bank counter in the counseling centre. Counseling Process fee of 800/- is to be paid in cash at the time of counseling 5. You are required to bring the following certificates in original and one set of photo copies with one passport size photograph. GAT 2012 Counseling Call Letter X class or Equivalent pass certificate 10+2 / Intermediate marks statement and Pass Certificate Transfer, Study and Conduct Certificates Medical Certificate from Civil Surgeon in case of PH Candidates Integrated Community Certificate in case of SC/ST 6 Admission Criteria: Pass in 10+2 / 12th examination from a recognized Central / State Board or its equivalent either in 2012 or 2011 subject to securing the following percentage of marks in specified subjects. B.Tech. - A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and First Class in single attempt or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination. B.Tech Biotechnology - A minimum of 60% marks in aggregate Mathematics or Biology, Physics and Chemistry and First Class in single attempt or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination. 7. Admissions shall be based on order of merit i.e., rank obtained in GAT 2012 subject to the rule of reservation as applicable to GITAM University. 8. Candidate may have to stay on the subsequent day, if necessary. 9. Mere attending the counseling does not confer right for admisisons as candidates called are more than the number of seats available. 10.
