Dear Sir, We acknowledge with thanks the receipt of your email inquiry and further refer to the discussions had with yourself, we are pleased to note that you wish to procure an Alfaa UV system. To cater to your above demand, we recommend you to install our E5 Model. Alfaa UV systems are designed to reduce microbial content upto 99.9% of all microorganisms, which are susceptible to a UV dosage of 30,000 uws/cm2. We have assumed the feed water to the ALFAA UV system will have a turbidity of <10NTU, Iron < 0.1 PPM, and manganese <0.1 PPM and the UV transmission will be > 90% through the water column. UV does not change the physical or chemical characteristics of water. The unique advantage of the Alfaa`s UV Water Purification Systems is that it offers an optional On-line fail-safe validation with the help of the Alfaa Sensor to monitor the proper functioning of the unit. Alfaa UV Systems are being successfully used for process applications apart from drinking water applications by reputed organisations like, Pfizer Ltd., Bayer (I) Ltd., Cyanamid (I) Ltd., Johnson & Johnson, Cipla Ltd., Dabur (I) Ltd, Ranbaxy Laboratories, Lupin, Pepsi, Parle Products amongst many others. Alfaa`s UV Water Purification Systems work using the principle of Ultraviolet light which today is considered to be the most modern, rapid, easy, effective, compact, safe, durable & economic solution towards achieving a very high rate of bacterial disinfection. This system also incorporates quartz glass, which is used internationally for superior ultraviolet transmission into the water. The high intensity ultraviolet lamps along with the quartz glass are enclosed in precision-engineered stainless steel vessels. - Insurance: All goods are packed with utmost care and forwarded at customer's risk. No responsibility is taken for breakage or loss in transit. Such claims should be on the transport company and/or insurance company directly. Goods can be insured at the customers request at 1.5% of the invoice value. Charges for the insurance will be made on the invoice itself. - Packing : 2% extra - Excise Duty: Extra as applicable ( currently - 8% Excise Duty on water purifiers + 2% Education Cess on Basic Excise Duty + 1% Secondary & Higher Education cess on Basic Excise Duty) - Sales Tax : The above prices are exclusive of local/central Sales Tax, both of which are currently no applicable for billing from our works at Dadra against Form C. If C Form is not provided 12.5% VAT will be applicable. - Freight : Extra as applicable - Octroi : Extra as applicable - Delivery: Within 4 weeks from the receipt of confirmed clear Purchase order and advance payment. - Payment Terms : 25% advance along with order. Balance 75% to be paid against proforma invoice before dispatch. DD/Cheque should be payable in Mumbai favouring Ace Hygiene Products Pvt. Ltd. - Warranty: As per warranty terms for 18 months from the date of dispatch or 12 months from the date of commissioning, whichever is earlier, against all manufacturing defects ( except consumables). - Supervisory Commissioning: Installation details are given in the Operating Manual. However, should you so desire our technical staff will provide supervisory commissioning of the unit. Our charges are Rs. 750/- per day per engineer plus to and fro class I train fare, free boarding lodging and local conveyance at site. 50% of the estimated charges are payable in advance. We request you to release a separate order on M/s. Ace Technologies for Commissioning activities. Service tax @ 12.24% will be extra. We trust you will find the above to meet your requirement.
