APEX FARES

APEX Fare Scheme presently applicable modified by Indian Airlines. Two levels of APEX Fares introduced in the market w.e.f. 7 th June, 2003 with validity of the scheme upto 31st March, 2004. One level at D-21 and other at D-7. The current APEX D-15 date slab would stand withdrawn with effect from 7 th June, 2003. All tickets booked upto 6th June, 2003, under the current D 15 scheme, would be accepted for travel for the date of original booking

Ticket Purchase Under the APEX D-21 date slab a confirmed ticket to be purchased upto 21 days prior to the date of departure e.g. for travel on 28th June, 2003, ticket to be issued on 7th June, 2003. Under the APEX D-7 date slab a confirmed ticket is to be purchased upto 7 days prior to the date of departure eg. for travel on 14th June, 200 ticket to be issued on 7th June, 2003. 1. Application One way or Round Trip journey in Economy Class on specified domestic sectors as per details at Annexure A and B. Validity of Ticket D7 Not valid before 14th June, 2003. Not valid after 31st March, 2004. Example Not valid before box th Ticket issued on 7 June, 2003 14th June, 2003. D 21 Not valid before 28th June, 2003. Not valid after 31st March, 2004. Fares As specified in the Annexure A (D-7) and B (D-21) to this Circular. Children and Infant Fare Not permitted. APEX Fare on the following sectors stands withdrawn w.e.f. 7th June, 2003:- Mumbai Lucknow. - Mumbai Patna - Mumbai Pune - Delhi Calicut - Delhi Aurangabad - Bookings made on the withdrawn sectors will be accepted till the validity of the scheme and for the dates under which the APEX fare ticket was originally booked Contd. Stopover Not permitted Cancellation and Refund Passenger will be permitted to make voluntary changes in bookings / sector or cancel the ticket issued against APEX Fares upto 7days (D 7) or 21 days (D 21) prior to the date of departure. Re-issuance charge of Rs.100/- or a Refund Fee of Rs.100/- will be levied, as the case may be. Confirmed ticket presented for cancellation / re-booking / refund less than 7days (D7) or 21 days (D 21) prior to departure date and upto one hour before schedule time of departure, will attract 50% Cancellation Charges on the fare component. Confirmed ticket presented for cancellation / re-booking / refund less than one hour before schedule time of departure will attract 100% Cancellation on Fare component under the two date levels i.e. D 7 and D 21. Change from APEX Fare to Normal Fare Passenger holding an APEX Fare ticket will be permitted to make a change from APEX fare (either D 7 or D 21 category) to Normal Fare upto one hour before departure on the date of travel provided: - Passenger is re-booked on the first available flight of Indian Airlines for the same sector and the ticket is re-issued on the Normal Fare with clear remarks Original ticket issued on APEX Fare. Non-Refundable/Non-Re-routable/Non-Endorseable. - Cancellation Charge / Re-Issuance Fee will not be applicable. Discount No discount permitted. Identification Requirement Identification of the passenger to be verified at Check-In Counter / Boarding Point. Passenger will be required to carry a photo identity document. Eligibility - The discount is available to Indian and Foreign Nationals residing in India and holding Resident permit. - Scheme valid for Individuals only. Not valid for Group bookings. Re-Routing Not permitted. General conditions - FFP : Accrual points 50% normal sector pints permitted for APEX D-7 date slab only. - Corporate Deal : Travel under this scheme not to be included.
