Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God.

C. S. Lewis A continual looking forward to the eternal world is not a form of escapism or wishful thinking, but one of the things a Christian is meant to do. It does not mean that we are to leave the present world as it is. If you read history, you will find that the Christians who did the most for the present world were just those who thought most of the next.

I John 3:2, 3 Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope fixed on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure.

My calling as a Christian is to live my life for Jesus in such a way that I have to change as little as possible when entering heaven.

your earthly body as dead put them all asideimmorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and greed, which amounts to idolatry anger, wrath, malice, slander, and abusive speech from your mouth. Do not lie to one another

and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him a renewal in which there is no distinction between Greek and Jew, circumcised and uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave and freeman, but Christ is all, and in all.
