Patricia, "Bravo" back to you! I am honored to receive your acceptance of this invitation to influence our city's future. Your bio is inspiring if not intimidating! What have I been doing? After reading your accomplishments, I am compelled to

validate myself via sending you a link to an "old" article. (separate email). I will update you on the committee's actions as they are formulated. Brian

Patricia,

Pardon my brief introductory email. I am working on a submittal deadline, AND my wife and I are hosting a fundraiser for 30 guests at our home in 45 minutes... thank God I will be on a plane heading to Napa region tomorrow morning! If I could insert a Tony Pleskow "fix" in my itinerary, I certainly would ---- what a great mutual friend we share!

THANK YOU very much for accepting the invitation to serve on our city's selection committee.

I have turned the city's time honored RFP procedure (for selecting architects) "upside down", and it is extremely exciting! I consider this chapter of my life as an elected official as a rare and overdue opportunity to designate design integrity, creativity, design excellence in a top priority position when evaluating design professionals that will be compensated w/ public funding.

Please send a brief bio of your status, so I may include in the Selection Committee profile/description.

More later, I promise!

THANKS so much, brian
