Oman LNG invites qualified applicants to apply for the following positions. Oman LNG provides an excellent professional working environment with many attractive and tangible benefits. The below positions are fixed term contract for 2 years and based in Sur.

Maintenance Engineer
The incumbent will be responsible for the following activities: Ensure correct and efficient implementation of engineering services scope of work with clear focus on Permit to Work (PTW), Integrity management and Maintenance planning and maintenance management. Implement data cleansing initiatives such as equipment data improvements, critical spares review, inventory optimisation, Bill of Materials development, etc.; Analyse and provide all transaction data that needs to be migrated to the ERP landscape (BI), validate the loaded data and ensure the consistency of data provided for Engineers; Own and support all the data both Master and transactional after the ERP System goes live, for each phase; Actively participate in every step and phase of the ERP implementation project lifecycle and contribute in achieving the milestones.

Planning Engineer
The incumbent will be responsible for the following activities: Ensure correct and efficient implementation of engineering services scope of work with clear focus on Planning processes, data and documentation; Implement data cleansing initiatives such as equipment criticality, maintenance plans, routing, critical spares review, inventory optimisation, Bill of Materials development, etc.; Own and support all the data both Master and transactional after the ERP System goes live, for each phase; Report on the data quality and quantity and constantly look for means by which data Quality is maintained at high standards. Actively participate in every step and phase of the ERP implementation project lifecycle and contribute in achieving the milestones.

Qualification and Technical knowledge base: BSc. in Engineering Science; Minimum 8 years experience in the Chemical, Oil or Gas industry engineering fields; Skills in various maintenance functions such as maintenance engineering, maintenance planning, shutdown planning; Preferably exposed to any of the popular CMMS.

Qualification and Technical knowledge base: BSc. in Engineering Science; Minimum 8 years experience in the Chemical, Oil or Gas industry engineering fields; Mastery in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and planning tools.

Engineering Services Lead


The incumbent will be responsible for the following activities: Lead the Engineering Department activities related to the ERP project in all its implementation phases with robust and fast decision making process; be able to work across various levels of the organisation to facilitate the smooth progress of the Engineering Services stream of the project; Ensure robust implementation of all engineering processes and solid adherence to the established Functional Requirement Matrix (FRM) and interfaces with 3rd party systems; carry conviction in adopting Best practices and avoid or minimise customisation to standard software; Ensure the power of data is exploited by providing decision making support using reports and dashboards developed in BI; Co-ordinate with other functions such as C & P, Finance and HR to ensure data completeness and adequacy for the Engineering Services functions; Actively participate in every step and phase of the ERP implementation project lifecycle and contribute in achieving the milestones.

Qualification and Technical knowledge base: BSc. in Engineering Science; Minimum 10 years experience in the Chemical, Oil or Gas industry engineering fields; Knowledge of various maintenance functions such as maintenance engineering, maintenance planning, shutdown planning; PTW and Integrity management; preferably exposed to any of the popular CMMS; Previous experience in management of changes and implementation of an ERP system is an added advantage.
