Tablets: The meaning of “royal dainties” is not clear, but it is
reasoned that in Jacob’s day, it would include wine. This would
require a cup or some similar vessel to put it in; hence we find a
covered CUP, or GOBLET, pictured as the emblem of the tribe of Asher.
While Asher’s emblem is not widely found in Anglo-Saxon or Celtic nations today, it is found
in several English family Coat of Arms, among which are the Arms of Bernsley and
Warrington. In Scotland, the GOBLET is also found in the Arms of Carnegie, Earl of
Southesk, Fagan, Butler, Boteler, and Shaw of Sauchie.

Place in the Heavenly Story

Sagittarius concludes the first book in the Zodiac story and is occupied with the triumph of
the coming Conqueror.

Psalm 45:3–6: 3 Gird thy sword upon thy thigh, O most mighty, With thy glory and thy
majesty. 4 And in thy majesty ride prosperously Because of truth and meekness and
righteousness; and thy right hand shall teach thee terrible things. 5 Thine arrows are sharp
in the heart of the king’s enemies; Whereby the people fall under thee. 6 Thy throne, O
God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of Thy kingdom is a right septre.

Revelation 19:11: 11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He That sat
upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war.

Again we have the picture of a centaur as to his outward form, i.e. a being with two
natures. Not now far down in the south, or connected with His sufferings and sacrifice as a
man; but high up, as a sign of the Zodiac itself, on the ecliptic, i.e. in the very path in
which the sun “rejoiceth in his going forth as a strong man.” In the Archer we see a fain
reflection of Him Who will presently come
forth, all gracious, all wise, all powerful,
whose arrows shall be “sharp in the heart of
the King’s enemies.”

it. It shines with a splendid white luster. It is called Vega, He shall be exalted. Its root occurs in

Consuming Fire Prepared for His
Enemies
Ara is pictured as an altar or burning pyre,
placed significantly and ominously upside down
with its fires burning and pointing downward
towards the lower regions, Tartarus, the abyss,
or “outer darkness.” It is an asterism with nine
stars, three of the third magnitude, four of the
fourth, et cetera. It is south of the scorpion’s
tail, and when these constellations were first
formed it was visible only on the very lowest
horizon of the south, pointing to the completion
of all judgment in the lake of fire.

Draco (The Dragon)

The Old Serpent, or the Devil, Cast Down
from Heaven
Each of the three books of the Zodiac concludes with this
same foreshadowing of truth—the same great enemy is
referred to in all these pictures. He is the serpent, the
dragon, “the great dragon . . . that old serpent, called
the devil and Satan.” The serpent represents him as the
deceiver, while Draco represents him as the destroyer.
The first book concludes with the dragon being cast down
from heaven. The second book concludes with Cetus, the
Sea Monster, Leviathan, bound. The third book concludes
with Hydra, the old serpent, destroyed.

In Draco, we see not only a dragon, but the dragon cast

down. It is against him that the God-Man, the Son of God,

goes forth to war. It is for him that the eternal fires are prepared. It is he who shall shortly

*Bullinger: Sethur means hidden or mystical. His name by Gematria is 666. Perhaps he was the ringleader of

Manasseh belonged to the children of Ephraim; 9 And the coast descended unto the river
Kanah, southward of the river: these cities of Ephraim are among the cities of Manasseh: the
coast of Manasseh also was on the north side of the river, and the outgoings of it were at the
sea: 10 Southward it was Ephraim’s, and northward it was Manasseh’s, and the sea is his
