Section 1: Basic planning and cabling


Using the diagram, select appropriate devices and label interfaces name in diagram for easy configuration. Section 2: Switch Configuration 1. Initial configuration on switch: host name; vty, enable passwords. 2. Enable trunk ports on switch if needed. 3. Configuring on the Switch3: VLAN for Server and Management named Server and Management Allow remote access to this switch with ip address and default gateway.

1. Initial configuration on all routers: host name; vty, enable passwords. 2. Configure Frame Relay switch to link Router1, Router2 and Router3. Configure 3 pointto-point PVCs between Router1, Router2 and Router3 as the full mesh topology (choose DCLI by yourself). The Frame Relay switch should use ANSI LMI. 3. Configure one point-to-point link between Router3 and Internet router using PPP protocol. Internet requires authentication CHAP with password Cisco123. Section 4: Subneting and routing protocol configuration 1. The addressing for the Network has the following requirements. Internal network must use 172.16.X.0/20 network for subnetting with specific number of address below: o The Server VLAN will require o The Management VLAN will require o The LAN of Router1 will require o The LAN of Router2 will require addresses addresses addresses addresses

o Each point-to-point PVC between Router1, Router2 and Router3 require 2 addresses. 2. Correctly configure IP addresses for all device connections. 3. Configure Router3 to provide inter-VLAN routing for Server VLAN and Management VLAN. 4. Configure OSPF routing protocol for Router1, Router2, Router3 and route for all local subnet. 5. Configure default route in Router3 to Internet and propagation this route to OSPF domain. Section 5: NAT, DHCP and ACLs 1. Configure NAT overload for internal network to access to the Internet. 2. Configure NAT for Internet can access the Server with IP address: 13.13.13.13/29. 3. Configure Router3 as a DHCP server to provide ip address for clients of Router1 and Router2 LANs. 4. Configure and apply ACLs that meets the following require: o Deny any ping traffic from Internet to the internal network. o The internet can access to Server with HTTP and HTTPs only.

o All Local LANs can only access to Server with HTTP, HTTPs and FTP from 8h to 20h everyday. Section 6: Troubleshooting and QA
