India Kharif Crop Sowing Crosses 1000 Lakh Hectare Mark

Sowing of kharif crops shown a steady increase during the week ending on 30th August. The total sown area, as per reports received from States, stands at 1003.82 lakh hectare as compared to 939.61 hectare at this time last year.
