INTRANET-BASED LIBRARY SYSTEM Background of the Study The possibilities of increasing the interest in library has heightened the

need for internet connection and have set some policies for internet usage suitable to immediately took the lead in planning to provide quick access for faculty staffs/members and students to directly connect to internet sites containing important and fresh ideas or new stories from other papers, available sites to link researches, other alternative resources and reading materials. The library is known as one best place of learning and must be obtained through internet access to properly constructed it with easy to use and understandable environment, should allowed easy access made through PCs, just like providing access to the internet together with a personal e-mail account, to browse a useful topic listing compiled by the librarian, as well as direct link to the librarys archive. This is an intranet-based application that can be accessed throughout the campus. This system can be used to search for books and magazines, such as those research books. This project is aimed to aid Library System in an online way. It is named Intranet-based Library System basically for providing usability both to the student and librarian with added security. However, these are limited to some extent. This is a series of easy-to-use menus which allow people find their way through the maze of resources. Since it is intranet, students or staffs should register online and they could only register to the system when inside the campus. Their password will be given by the librarian. It is necessary to got registered to the system for them not need to use library cards because the borrowed books will be automatically saved on the system itself. Books should be dynamic searching and created with filters, in a way that the user

can browse or search books with the authors name, the subject or the book title. At the same time there should be the guest user (those who will register to the system) and they only have a limited access while the admin(the librarian) he/she could access all the features of the system. The present work agrees with the use of internet connection. Particularly in the school library but for private use only to immediately provide quick access for direct connection to internet sites. Students have their own registered e-mail account that they will use to log-in while their password will be given by the librarian effectively to avoid unauthorized use of the account and for the privacy of the owner/user.

Statement of the Problem The study aimed to develop an Intranet-based Library System for Cavite State University-Silang Campus. The study would specifically answer the following questions: 1. How does the system provide easy access to the internet? 2. How does the system satisfy the needs of the user?

ELECTRONIC-VOTING SYSTEM Background of the Study The possibilities of increasing interest in the idea of manual voting has expand the need for an electronic voting system to immediately provide quick process of counting of votes for the Counting Officers especially during the CSG(Central Student Government) election, to suit their needs and lessen their works and avoid gossips from other people. In the existing manual voting, it takes a week or two before the result is announced. There are times that the counting officers got confused with the result of the manual counting of votes, for the students didnt write their choice legibly or the student write two names on one line and that should not be counted. This only means that also the counting officers is not satisfied with the results of the manual counting of votes because there are instances that it does not complies with the tally and maybe before the counting, it seems that some filled up papers had been crumpled by the students and already put it on the trash cans. As a result, there are less people who votes in the CSG election. Considering the problem cited, there is a need for a technology that can improve the Manual Voting System in Cavite State University-Silang Campus. Supposedly an electronic machine that will ensure a good quality and a better roll up of the manual counting of votes. As a sample, a system which automatically ask students to registered either on PC or mobile phone and they only have to reply once they received it on a text message and go to the machine and can now start voting. This system would also help the Counting Officers published a quick result of the election that just happen and would only take maybe one day waiting.

Statement of the Problem The study is aimed to develop an Electronic Voting System for Cavite State UniversitySilang Campus. The study would specifically answer the following questions: 1. How does the system will improve the manual voting and counting? 2. How does the system help the counting officers in quick counting of votes?

MONITORING OF TEMPORARY EMPLOYEE CONTRACT Background of the Study There are many part-time and full-time employees in a company or rather anywhere else in our environment. They are the people looking for their passion and desire in life, seeking for subject and exploring more of their knowledge. Presently, it took a deep breath. There are many people chooses to be a part-time employee and few are full-timers. These can be seen in Cavite State University-Silang Campus that most of the instructors are part-timers and maybe it was the idea that being a part-time employee can also still work at other near places rather than being a full-timer that has a more work loads. This project is conducted in order to monitor the activities done by the employee. Their records must be recorded or else monitored as well because this maybe their evidence that they had worked with this organization for this set of years. The idea that complying with this system, the employee being monitored can as well re-contracted and people may patronize his/her with the dignity and satisfy the needs of the organization to what the other people are expecting from him/her before leaving the university if its what is written on the contract he/she had signed.

The study would specifically answer the following questions: 1. How does the system can monitor activities of the employee? 2. How does the idea of the system help part-timer?

ACCOUNTING SYSTEM Background of the Study There are many companies always uses account management for any financial assistance and transactions of a business. It is important that all establishments have this kind of management, usually in banks, hospitals, schools and any other decision making relations regarding with money. Accounting is the systematic recording, summarizing, reporting and analysis of financial transaction of any business. In school, this kind of transaction, students are left hanging there because there is only one cashier holding the transaction so its a very long process for a reason that students fall in line and those who will pay for the old accounts are also combined with the ones who will pay for the present accounts so it took 30 minutes before being done with one person, and still a long ride before your turn comes. Considering the problem, there is a need for an improvement that can help the cashier and the students to have an easy and organized transaction for the accounts of the student that has settled for the semester, there should be a system that will help for fast but sure transaction and no more hassle, no more time consuming transaction and should assign two cashiers to handle separate transaction for old and new accounts.

ONLINE JOB EMPLOYMENT Background of the study The increasing interest for online job employment has heightened the number of those whos searching for job alignment, from abroad or local country like Philippines. This was very consistent in every places that even those under age are started working, at their very young ages ranges between 10-17. Online job employment is a less effort but a very meaningful help especially to those who cant go there on the place being describe on that specific time but if you do online, you can do it as long as you are connected to the internet, you will go there once you were ask to go there and just that its the matter of your choice. Conducting this study to Cavite State University-Silang Campus, this may help a lot to the registrar or on the HR office minimize their workload because she has to view it online and check the site if someone is approaching in the application, it may also help the school familiar to other place and see the history of the school, what does this school had been done a long ago. The application sender can pass his/her requirements through online and when called, will went there for an interview and ready to start and all was done. She/he can also bring the original copy for evidences to avoid misinterpret and unknown person.
