EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The primary aim of the study is to get a deep insight into the perception of the customer towards life insurance plans. The very necessity of taking up this case is that life insurance companies are slowly moving away from the usual traditional insurance plan and focusing more on investments plans. This study will help us to get a better picture as to what customers perceive about life insurance plans and their awareness about the same. This study will help us in understanding what the customers prefer really through these life insurance plans. The sample was decided based on random sampling method. The responses were recorded by conducting a survey with the help of a questionnaire. The questionnaire has been designed in such a way so as to bring out the most accurate data, which will enable the study to get the closest vicinity of its objectives. The data collected from the survey has been appropriately analyzed and has been interpreted in a meaningful way to offer some consideration suggestions and recommendations. Yet the study has been done reaching close to the greatest possible extent of its primary objective. First portion is of company study, in that there is brief introduction of insurance in industry. There is discussion related insurance regulatory and development authority. Overview , service and product of beacon insurance is there in first portion. There are many competitors of beacon insurance in market. Second portion is of project information in which there is statement of problem, project introduction and the objectives of the study. Questionnaire is used for data collection during this study. Random convenience sampling method is used for data collection. Data are recorded in excel sheet and from that graph are made.
