June 2009 Cecil - Art 1


Final Artwork:
This is your opportunity to show what you have
learned this year in terms of COMPOSITION (size,
view, and placement). Using any material and theme we
have explored this year complete an artwork that
includes at least one shoe as part of the
composition. It should be completed using an entire
18” X 24” paper, it does not have to remain as one
piece. You must complete 2 thumbnail drawings first
on the back.

Choose one STYLE (perceptual, expressive, non-objective) and one


ART CONCEPT (pos./neg. space, proportion, narrative, gesture,
etc.) to use in completing your shoe artwork.

conté, charcoal, tempera, paper grade will be part of
drawing without using line, only value your exam grade.
