The new springboard for semi-professional DJs has landed. Designed to aid the first step to becoming a professional DJ, the CDJ-850 is the most affordable deck to feature Pioneers club-standard layout delivering familiarity between home and booth. The CDJ-850 inherits many exciting features from the top range players, including the full-size 206mm scratch jog wheel. The expanded visual display and large rotary select dial, as featured on the CDJ-2000, enable fast track browsing and selection while the Wave display shows the peaks and drops of the entire track. The new addition to the CDJ family delivers next generation digital sound quality unheard of at this price point. It supports all digital music files including professional 24-bit WAV and AIFF formats from CD, USB or PC. DJs can arrive, plug in and perform. An intuitive Tag List feature means that DJs can spontaneously add tracks to a playlist, many tracks ahead of time. Plus it is the only player in the range to

enable editing of set lists on the fly, directly on the deck. And the CDJ-850s history function means that every playlist is automatically saved. Set preparation is also a breeze, with the CDJ-850 completing the range of rekordbox enabled players. DJs can use the software to prepare for club gigs at home, safe in the knowledge that their settings will instantly be available whichever next gen CDJ model they find in the booth. Like its CDJ brethren, the CDJ-850 features a 100m pitch slider with 6, 10 and 16 per cent pitch control. Play, search and cue buttons, tempo variation and vibration-resistance also come as standard. And, like the CDJ-900, it boasts an advanced Auto-Beat Loop function to make precisely timed loops even easier to achieve. With many more value-added features such as the USB HID capability and 24-bit soundcard for DJ software, the accessible CDJ-850 is the rising DJs digital desire.
