Working wirelessly with Pioneer's music management software, the XDJ-AERO lets you experience rekordbox at its very best. And the new rekordbox app means you can access all the softwares key features on the go.
Use the rekordbox app on your smartphone or tablet to load tracks and create playlists; view beat grids; load waveforms; and analyse the BPM and beat position of songs on the road. Then wirelessly load your music to the XDJ-AERO when you arrive at the venue. You can even edit your playlists during live performance for truly spontaneous sets. And, for perfect loops every time, use rekordboxs quantized loops feature to snap loops made with rekordbox-ready tracks to the beat grid. Plus, the rekordbox app lets you use your smartphone or tablet as a remote control for the XDJ-AERO. By switching the rekordbox browser to the XDJ-AERO USB source, you can browse playlists and view tracks on your devices bigger, touch-sensitive screen.

WI-FI SOURCES: You can connect up to four Wi-Fi enabled devices to the XDJ-AERO at once. The audience can download the rekordbox app and wirelessly stream their favourite tracks from their iPhones to the XDJ-AERO. Music is buffered to the XDJ-AERO and, if a mobile device runs out of battery or goes out of range before it buffers the whole track, a quantized four-beat emergency loop will keep the music playing even in the mix.
