Lighthouse Advertising Dominates the 2012-2013 ADQuest


PH care Pure n Fresh garners fresh ideas from the Communication Arts Students of UST in the recently concluded Advertising Quest

UST Tarc Auditorium March 16, 2013 CA-5s Lighthouse Advertising Agency wins 6 out of 9 awards in the ADQuest organized by the Communication Arts Association with partner company and ADQuest Client, PH Care Pure n Fresh. In partial fulfilment of their requirements in Advertising Copy and Layout Production (CA 208) every third year class taking up Communication Arts is required to submit an Advertising plan of the client PH Care Pure n Fresh. The Advertising plan should thoroughly penetrate the available mediums Print Advertising, Out of Home Advertising, Social Media, Television, PR and Events. Radio Advertising was removed due to the fact that the target market of the product does not belong to the Radio listening

group. With the aid of their fourth year upperclassmen, the 5 sections of 3CA battled it out to get the freshest and perkiest ideas that will titillate the judges. CA-5s Lighthouse Advertising with its big Idea: Be That Girl, won 6 out 9 Awards namely; Advertising of the Year, Best in Creatives, Best in Print Advertising, Best in Social Media, Best TVC, and Best Female Presenter. With its three phasing Advertising Plan, the judges were impressed by the cleanliness in the layout and the step-by-step execution of the Advertising Plan. This overwhelming recognition gave joy and pride to the class that never won such prestige in the past years, and so ADQuest became a real good comeback for CA-5. The other participating classes won the following Awards, Best Advertising Strategy CA-3 CATres, Best PR and Events CA-2 Boomerang and Best Male Presenter CA-2 Boomerang. As Sir Nicky Salandanan, Chairman for Department of Communication and Media Studies in UST, gave as a closing remark, He wishes all CA graduates to be very good in their craft and bring what they learned back to UST. To be like the previous CASA Presidents and let companies to hold Advertising and Marketing Competitions that will help hone Media students and encourage a competitive and learning environment. Well be expecting a lot from CA-5 and all the other Sections! To be future forerunners of Lighthouse Advertising Agency, Boomerang Ads, CATRES Agency and Square Ads, ADQUEST encourages CASANS to step up to the Challenge!
