The Fire is completely Quenched off at 11-24 Hrs. The DE/Safety, ADE/Safety and Fire Tender Staff had given training to the participants regarding operation and fixing of Nozzles, Hoses to Hydrants and Fire quenching Techniques to Staff present to Fire Mock Drill. OPERATIONS CARRIED OUT DURING FIRE MOCK DRILL ON 31.10.2012 AT 10:54 HRS. Near ESP hoppers of XI Unit at KTPS VI STAGE

Fire is observed by Sri V. Rami reddy / CL/Santosh constructions , while carrying Out ESP hoppers of XI Unit works area . 10:54 Hrs. : Sri . V. Rami reddy / Contract worker/Santosh constructions immediately intimated to Sri M.Adinarayanan murthy / ADE/Shift/AHP/ VI Stage by shouting FIRE-FIRE- FIRE Sri M. Adinarayanan murthy / ADE/Shift/AHP/ VI Stage immediately informed over phone to Fire Station and requested to send the Fire Tender immediately for fire quenching operations. 10:57 Hrs. : Sri M. Adinarayanan murthy / ADE/Shift/AHP/ VI Stage and their staff are attended the spot along with Fire hoses and Nozzles from Ash handling plant -XI Unit connected to Hydrant point and started fire quenching operations 10:58 Hrs : Sri M.Adinarayanan murthy / ADE/Shift/AHP/ VI Stage, immediately telephoned to DE/Shift/UCB, CE/O&M / KTPS/V&VI-Stage & SE / E&M-I, Factory Manager, Safety officer, Security Officer, DE/General and requested to arrange assistance and to witness the fire 10:59 Hrs.: The Fire Tender Staff along with Fire Tender attended to the spot. 11:01 Hrs. : The Fire Staff connected the Fire Hoses to Hydrant point and Started Fire quenching operations. . 11:02 Hrs. : The ADE/Safety, and other staff attended to the spot for Assisting and witnessing the fire quenching operations. 11:04 Hrs. : The Fire Staff and other existing staff completely quenched off the Fire at ESP hoppers -XI Unit area. 10. 11:14 Hrs. : The Fire staff trained the following Staff gathered at near ESP hoppers -XI Unit area in Fire quenching operations.
