All working will be restricted to daylight hours, and where rainfall or the likelihood of rainfall is present, necessary works will be protected by the provision of impermeable sheeting. All access and vehicular movements will be controlled by the erection of temporary fencing surrounding the work area. Such fencing will be secured in position and clearly posted with appropriate signs indicating undertakings. All works to be undertaken under a permit to work system, and isolation from other sources of supply to be checked as required. Demarcation of the work area to be adhered to whilst assuring correct minimum clearances from all other lines and bus sections. Encourage diligence and conscientiousness at all times and employ good housekeeping measures as are inherent throughout PTS/RWE works. Eliminate the production of significant noise levels wherever possible, if this is not possible then ensure noise is reduced as best as is practicable and provide hearing Avoid stepping on cable trenches at all times. Any damaged trench covers should be reported and barriered with immediate effect. Ear protection to be worn when working in close proximity to in service circuit breakers. Communicate with client with regards to likelihood of circuit breakers being Emergency Control measures in place as per points 7a &7b or method statement.
