JACQUELIEN BUNT
Project Manager, dance4life Vietnam
Jacquelien Bunt has worked with dance4life since
early 2008. As Project Manager, Jacquelien has
energized the organization, increasing funding,
partnerships and the scope of the project.
Jacquelien gets inspired by the energy and
eagerness the students show during the different
dance4life activities. Their willingness to learn
more about the issue and to make a positive
change for themselves and others motivates her
every day. It is all she needs to try to make the
dance4life Vietnam project even bigger, involving
more youth throughout Vietnam.
Prior to joining dance4life, Jacquelien has worked
in a variety of commercial and non-profit
organizations, both here in Vietnam and abroad.
Enabling a socially responsible cosmetics company
in Lao Cai to implement a successful marketing
strategy, helping to set up micro finance projects
in Vietnam and Cambodia, and being part of the
management of several mobile services providers
are among her accomplishments.
A native of The Netherlands, Jacquelien has lived
and worked in Asia for seven years and moved to
Vietnam a little over two years ago.
TRAN KHANH HIEN
Project Manager, dance4life Vietnam
Tran Khanh Hien joined dance4life in 2006 after
WPF Vietnam began funding dance4life in Vietnam.
Hien was one of the first Vietnamese members of
dance4life.
She became the dance4life coordinator in 2008.
This year, Hien is one of the Project Managers for
dance4life alongside Jacqueline Bunt.
Hien calls dance4life as a “dynamic initiative” in
which she and WPF Vietnam strongly believe. She
is inspired by the energy created by the School
Tour Team when they are working together in
order to bring about the change in knowledge,
attitude and actions of the young students. It
makes her believe that ‘together we can all BEAT
IT!
JERRY CLEWETT
Country Representative, World Population
Foundation
Jerry Clewett joined WPF in January 2009 as the
Country Representative, leading WPF Vietnam and
overseeing the dance4life Project Managers.
Jerry Clewett’s work with WPF enables him to
actively promote sexual and reproductive rights, a
cause he has long been driven to advance. Jerry
worked for nine years as the global Programme
Director for Health Unlimited, advocating health
rights in marginalized communities. During his eight
years in Nepal, Jerry worked on a variety of
programmes including promoting education for the
poor; healthy refugee camps; and health and
community development in both rural and urban
communities.
Jerry Clewett is a Cambridge graduate (MA
Geography) and also has an MSc in Development
Management. He is married with four children.
NGUYEN THI ANH NGUYET
Programme Assistant, dance4life Vietnam
In 2006, Nguyen Thi Anh Nguyet became one of the
first members of the dance4life school tour team.
She is now the Programme Assistant for WPF and
dance4life.
Anh Nguyet graduated with an MA in Psychology
from Hanoi National University, Vietnam in 2007.
She was a leading coordinator of Hands in Hands for
3 years and a member of the Leading Group of
National University’s Youth Union. Anh Nguyet has
organized several projects promoting youth
participation in raising sexual and reproductive
health awareness, as well as projects advocating
sexual education and safe sex. Nguyet joined
dance4life in 2006 to help others have a better life.
She sees dance4life as a wonderful project which
connects young people over the world in a goal: to
push back HIV and AIDS by music, dance and many
other ways.
