Material: Cylinderbeads (Toho Treasurebeads or Delicabeads size 11) (CB) Japanese rocailles size 11/0 (R11) Swarovski-Bicone 4mm

Beadingthread ( Fireline or Toho T-line) Technique: Circular Peyote 1st row: 11 CB, 1 R11, 4 times in a change. Build a circle, the thread should extend infront of a R11. (The pattern shows only a part of the circle. It is shown one corner and two sides. The pattern is continued in the same way until the circle is completed. The pictures show the completed circle. )

2nd row: Bead another R11 above the R11 of the first row, then 5 x 1 CB.

4th row: Infront of the corner (group of 3 R11) bead 1 R11, weave forward through 3 R11,add another R11. On the side 3 x 1 CB.

5th row: Again infront of the corner 1 R11, weave through 5 R11, add another R11, then 2 x 1 CB on the sides.

6th row: Once more infront of the corner 1 R11, weave through 7 R11, add another R11, then 1 CB on the sides. After the circle is finished, weave back to the 1st row. The thread should extend from a R11 of the 1st row (Abbildung 7). the following rows are made mirror inverted (except the last row).

9th row: Again infront of the corner 1 R11, weave through 5 R11, add another R11, then 2 x 1 CB on the sides (like 5th row).

The finish: The outer edges are put together like a zipper (Abbildung 11) until you reach the first corner (Abbildung 12). The thread should extend from a R11.

Now you add 1 Bicone, 2 R11 1 Bicone and weave forward through the R11 at the other side of this corner (like shown in Zeichnung 10). Zip the next side together and go on, until all corners are filled.

After the circle is finished, you weave forward another time through the Bicones. As you can see, the beads are not completely in a straight position (Abbildung 14). To straighten them, you should weave through the opposite R11 like shown inAbbildung 15

At the corner, between the 2 R11, you add another R11. This builds an accurate corner (Abbildung 16, Zeichnung 11) Compare the arrows in Zeichnung 10 and Zeichnung 11 .

Variations: You can change the pattern into a triangle or pentagon wihtout changing anything, except the repitition of the pattern (3 times or 5 times instead of 4 times).

If you increase the number of Cylinderbeads at the sides, the square can be made larger. Make sure, that you choose an odd number of cylinderbeads (11, 13, 15).
