You can use the following RS232/PPI Multi Master cables for downloading a project: Order Number: 6ES7901-3CB30-0XA0 The RS232/PPI Multi Master cable (with 8 DIP switches) can be used if DIP switch number 5 is set to PPI/freeport ("0"). The cable must be dead for it to accept the change. Note: The USB/PPI Multi Master cable (Order Number 6ES7 901-3DB30-0XA0) E-Stand 05 can be used for downloading since WinCC flexible 2005 SP1!

The OP/TP270 does not have an onboard Ethernet interface, i.e. for project transfer via Ethernet you have to slot an additional CF or PCMCIA Ethernet card in the panel. Ordering options for USB Host-to-Host cables are available in Entry ID: 19142034 The USB/PPI cable is not approved for communication, but rather exclusively for the OS update with ProSave, effective from V7.4.0.0. Provided Wire. PC/MPI-Adapter and USB/MPI-Adapter are not released for transfer. The "S7Ethernet" is possible in integrated projects with STEP7 effective from WinCC flexible 2008. The transfer connection "S7Ethernet" supports S7 routing. Project transfer via Ethernet WLAN possible. Dispose only a USB 2.0-certified cable with the label "Certified HI-SPEED USB 2.0". The cable length can amount maximum 1,5m.
