TODAY Welcome! This morning, Pastor Steve continues his morning sermon series called From Poverty to Plenty the Book of Ruth. In the evening, Pastor Steve continues a month-long sermon series on Romans 16 called Good Friends Along the Way. In the morning service, we also observe the Lords Supper. Wine is placed in the center & middle of the tray and grape juice on the outside ring. 5:30 PM Evening Service THIS WEEK Tuesday Womens Ministry Meeting @ 7:00 PM Grysen Home Wednesday Church Membership Seminar @ 7:00 PM - HCS OFFERINGS This Sundays Benevolent Offering - Our benevolent offering will be received today during both services for the Family LIFE Center. The mission of the Center is to demonstrate the love of Christ to young women experiencing unplanned pregnancies by equipping them for the challenges of Life. If you would like to get involved with this ministry please contact the center at 616-8958336 or send an email to rochell@familylifecenterhome.org. ANNOUNCEMENTS Small Group Sign-Up Today! Fall small groups begin on September 15th. Information brochures are found at the sign-up table in the gym. Or, you can sign up for a group through our connection cards today! Womens Ministry September Meeting This Tuesday, September 10th, there will be a Womens Ministry launch meeting for the new year at 7 PM at the home of Deb Grysen. All ladies of Cedar are invited to attend. For a list of the womens committees and to sign up for a committee, visit the table in the gym. Please see Deb with any questions.

I Peter 4:10. September 29th has been designated as "Servanthood Sunday to acknowledge the many members who have shown themselves faithful stewards through their acts of service to Cedar. Please join us as we give thanks for our volunteers and recognize them during the morning worship service. Fellowship Lunch To correspond with the kickoff of the fall Sunday ministries at Cedar, the fellowship lunch this month will be held on the third Sunday, September 15th. College Student Addresses - As a new school year has begun and young adults have headed out the door to college campuses keep us informed about their temporary address so that we can keep in contact with them. COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS Womens Conference 2013 - The Harvest OPC Women's Ministry Oversight Committee is planning a fall women's conference October 25-26, 2013, at Harvest Church. Author and speaker Mary Beeke will speak on Sweet and Salty: Being Gods Kind of Woman. This conference is appropriate for girls ages 12 and up. Feel free to invite family, friends, and neighbors. Call the church office (261-0327) or visit www.harvestopc.org to register. Blood Drive - There are no substitutes for the real thing. Please give blood on Friday, September 13, at the Hillcrest Christian Reformed Church, 3617 Hillcrest Road, in Hudsonville. You may walk in between 11:30 AM and 5:15 PM or call 1-800-REDCROSS for an appointment. Individuals who are 17 years of age (16 with parental consent), meet height and weight requirements (110 lbs. or more, depending on their height) and are in generally good health may be eligible to give blood. A donor card or other form of ID is required. It is recommended to be well hydrated and to eat a meal four hours or less before giving blood. Zion Christian The senior class at Zion Christian School will sponsor a Hamburger Fry on Friday, September 13, at 6:00pm, at Zion. Please join us for this event, which is a fundraiser for the senior class trip. Free CPR Class - Mark your calendars for a free CPR class coming to Harvest on Monday evening, Sept. 16, at 7 pm. A certified instructor will lead a class on life-saving techniques, including the use of an AED. All teenagers and adults are welcome!
