NAMIS Communications
NAMIS SatCom terminated on 31st March 2011 NCSA briefed about the new NATO communications-network NAMIS METOC data are operationally sent from data hub at BGIO to NU server at NCSA Diode from NU to classified network is in place DNK, GRC, NOR and TUR are now receiving/sending data from/to BGIO via NU server at NCSA

In case of line connectivity failures the need for a backup data transfer from BGIO to SHAPE was addressed AI to SHAPE to investigate rerouting data from BGIO to SHAPE (e.g. via LMG Woendsrecht or Beauvechain) DEU representative informed nations (BEL, CZE, Frau, HUN, ITA, NLD, POL) about the start of relocation of BGIO data hub from Traben-Trarbach to Euskirchen in 2012 AI to nations on preparing for switching of the lines Request to host CBRN messages from LN for NATO operations on ACOMEX website in Woensdrecht and on website at 21 OWS Sembach (done)

METOC Visualisation
NAMIS software follow-on VISME was presented during the meeting. METEO FRANCE International requested for setting up an experimental dataset for testing purposes ACOMEX Chairman established temporary subgroup to take care for this request (latest until end of 2011) VISME Security Test & Evaluation until end of February 2012 VISME Final System Acceptance (after deployment) by September 2012 An urgent need was addressed to train deployed MET personnel at ISAF on NAMIS X (AI to SHAPE)

AFTER MEETING UPDATE
An ACOMEX Subgroup (VISME IS) was established to support on the implementation of VISME in the NATO environment. The below statements are part of the TOR: GENERAL The ACOMEX VISME Implementation Subgroup (IS) is a subgroup of the ACOMEX WG, established in line with the TORs of the ACOMEX WG. The VISME IS is to be replaced by the VISME User Group (VUG) once the VISME system is successfully implemented into the NATO environment and approved by appropriate bodies. MISSION The mission of the VISME IS is to support seamless implementation of VISME into the

NATO Global Communication System (NGCS) for NATO METOC community.

AWP-3 update was briefed AWP-3 update was finalized and sent to DEU representative of MCWG for further processing
SHAPE informed ACOMEX WG about NIMCC status and further developments in respect of NATO PE review ACOMEX Vice-Chairman Mr. Rob de Wolff was renominated by ACOMEX WG
