Task. Outline. A. Planning = determining the overall company objectives and how to achieve them. 1. Managers : - Evaluate alternative plans before choosing spesific course of action - Check to see that chosen plan fits into the objectives 2. Planning is first because the others manajement functions depend on it. 3. It continous as goals and alternative which further evaluated and revised B. Organizing = the process of putting plan into action. 1. Allocating resources, especiality human resources 2. Managers : - Decide on position to be created and determine the associated duties and responsibilities - Choose the right person for the right job = staffing C. Directing = guiding, teaching and motivating workers so that they reach their potential abilities and at the same time achieve the company goals. 1. Managers : - Guide - Teach - Motivate 2. Effective direction requires ongoing communication with employees D. Controlling = evaluating how well company objective are being met.

Task 4. Checking notes and Retelling. Manajement play a vitals roles in business. Their duties are making sure company objectives are met and seeing that business operate efficiently. They have four basic function, planning, organizing, directing and controlling. Planning involves determining the overall company objectives and how to achieve them. Managers evaluate alternative plans before choosing specific course of action and then check to see that chosen plan fits into the objectives. Organizing is the process of putting plan into action. This involves allocating resources, especiality human resources so that the overall objectives can be attained. Managers decide on position to be created and determine the associated duties and responsibilities, for the example choosing the right person for the right job. The third was directing. Directing is to guide, teach and motivate workers so that they reach their potential abilities and at the same time achieve the company goals. Effective direction requires ongoing communication with employees. In the last management function, controlling, managers evaluate how well company objective are being met. Managers must look at :the objectives established in the planning phase and how well the task assigned and directing phase are being completed. In order to efficiently perform these management function, manages need interpersonal, organizational and technical skill.

Task 5. Summerizing and Translating (not more than 15 sentences) Manajemen mempunyai peran penting dalam sebuah bisnis. Tugas manajemen adalah memastikan bahwa tujuan perusahaan dapat tercapai serta bisnis dapat berjalan efisien (1). Berdasarkan hal tersebut, manajemen memiliki empat fungsi dasar, yaitu fungsi perencanaan, pengorganisasian, fungsi pemberi arah dan fungsi pengontrolan (2). Fungsi perencanaan mencakup pengumpulan semua tujuan perusahaan dan memutuskan bagaimana cara yang paling tepat untuk dapat mancapai semua tujuan tersebut (3). Fungsi ini merupakan fungsi yang utama karena fungsi fungsi lainnya bergantung pada fungsi ini (4). Fungsi pengorganisasian adalah proses bagaimana menjalankan rencana yang telah dibuat (5). Hal ini mencakup pengumpulan sumberdaya, terutama sumber daya manusia

sehingga tujuan perusahaan dapat tercapai (6). Hal ini dilakukan dengan cara penempatan staf, memilih orang yang tepat sesuai kemampuan kerjanya (7). Fungsi pengarahan, manajer memandu, mengajarkan dan memotivasi para karyawan sehingga mereka dapat mencapai kemampuan maksimalnya (8). Dapat dilakukan dengan komunikasi yang baik dengan karyawan (9). Pada fungsi pengontrolan manajer mengevaluasi seberapa baik pelaksanaan perusahaan dalam memenuhi tujuannya (10). Untuk mengefisienkan fungsi manajemen maka manajer memerlukan kemampuan interpersonal, organisasi serta kemampuan teknis (11). Manajer yang efektif dapat mencapai tujuan perusahaan dengan mengkombinasikan keempat fungsi tersebut secara baik (12).
