Most trouble free dyeing method for metal complex dyestuffs

1) For molecular size of dyestuff is comparatively larger, after dyestuff addition, temperature raising should be made to ensure highest migration of these larger dyestuff molecule, specially for higher dye %( 1.0%), otherwise for smaller dye%, temperature raising is not essential & hence, in combination, other dyestuffs types rather that vinyl sulfone, such as bi-functional dyestuffs (hetero types are preferable) can also be used. 2) For highest RFT dyeing result, all dyestuffs in combination are to be of same types, i.e., vinyl sulfone, otherwise, due to different behaviour of different dyestuffs types, RFT dyeing cannot be ensured due to different fixation speeds, moreover both salt & soda additions should be made progressively.

b)Metal complex dye of comparatively smaller molecules: i.e., Triactive Brill. Blue R Spl. Or Superzol Bril. Blue K-NR 150 %( Reactive Blue 19)

N.B:

1) Here, temperature raising is not needed but due to comparatively smaller dyestuffs molecule, dropping bath below 60oC is more preferable & but, in combination, other dyestuffs types rather that vinyl sulfone, such as bi-functional dyestuffs (hetero types are preferable) are preferable. 2) For RFT dyeing result, in combination, all dyestuffs are to be of same types, i.e., vinyl sulfone; otherwise, due to different behaviour of different dyestuffs types, RFT is not ensured, moreover, both salt & soda additions should also be made progressively.

Special care for both these dyestuffs:

a) Total killing of peroxide before start of dyeing due to higher sensitivity against it & b) Vigorous washing off after dropping bath, are to be ensured
