STRATEGIC THINKER | HR EXPERT | DIVERSITY SPECIALIST Cecelia ("Ci Ci") Holloway is a Consultant with The Barnyard Group, a digital communications firm based in Westport, CT. She is the former Co-Head of Community Affairs, Culture, and Inclusion at UBS Investment Bank delivering programs that drive commitment to employee engagement through employee resource groups, community partnerships, charitable giving, creating an inclusive culture and ensuring that all programs were carried out in an environmentally and socially responsible manner. Prior to being promoted to this role, she joined UBS as the Managing Director of Diversity and Inclusion for the Americas where she was responsible for leading, developing and implementing a comprehensive array of programs and initiatives to promote diversity, inclusion, and the ROI and value of difference. Working closely with the Chairman, business heads and Human Resources, she developed talent development strategies to address issues such as diversity recruiting/diverse candidate slates, retention/employee engagement, and the integration of diversity as a highly valued core business driver. Prior to UBS, Ci Ci worked for major entertainment companies throughout the Viacom organization, where she fulfilled a number of HR roles during a period of rapid growth. In addition to working closely with MTV Networks, Nickelodeon, Showtime, Television, Radio, and Digital Media divisions as Communications Chair of the corporate-wide diversity initiative, in 2000, she was appointed Senior Vice President of Diversity, Training and Organizational Development for Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles. Prior to joining Paramount, Ms. Holloway was Senior Vice President, Human Resources at Spelling Entertainment Group, Inc. where she was responsible for establishing and overseeing Spellings HR policies and programs global ly. She led recruitment, compensation, benefits, diversity, and employee relations initiatives for shows such as Judge Judy, Judge Joe Brown and 90210; and their Virgin Interactive and Digital divisions globally. Ms. Holloway has distinguished herself as a strategic thinker and is results driven. She has demonstrated a consistent track record of developing business strategies and company objectives by implementing comprehensive programs designed to increase productivity and bottom-line profit. Ms. Holloway brings a unique perspective to complex and challenging opportunities, as she has extensive experience in mergers and corporate consolidations. In her human resources roles, she has handled over 14 company acquisitions/divestitures and specializes in corporate reorganization and redesign. A Syracuse University alumna, Ms. Holloway has been recognized for her professional and community contributions. Most recently, she received the 2012 Utica College Key Award. In 2011, Profiles in Diversity Journal Magazine gave Ms. Holloway a Women Worth Watching award. The Network Journal magazine named her one of the 25 most influential Black Women in Business for 2009. In 2008, she received an African-American Woman of Distinction Award by the Urban League of Southern Connecticut. Also in 2008, she became a member of the Executive Leadership Council (ELC), and joined the Board of Trustees of Utica College. In 2006, she became a member of the Securities Industry Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Diversity Sub-Committee. In 2005, she was elected President, Women In Film/L.A. She has served on the Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League and served as their Chair of the 2005 Deborah Awards in Los Angeles.
