Comment:
All of the experiments occurred in the same condition such as the distance from the light to the panel D:
40cm, the same temperature and different in the angle contacting with the light.
As we can see the MPP is the point at the top of the Power Line such as P90, P60, and P45 and in that
order the MPP is 4.32V-0.25A, 4.2V-0.27A, and 3.89V-0.24A. We know that the Power lines here are not
exactly the true because we can see the MPP in the experiment so all thing we choose just for the
experiment we did. And for that we can know the load resistance is in the range from 15.56 Ohm to
17.28 Ohm.
Moreover, when we look at the figure we can see the power is max when the panel in the position that
is 60 degree compared with the land. That can reach at 1.134 Watts.

Fuel Cell
Part 1. Some information about PEM fuel cell.
Proton exchange membrane fuel cells, also known as polymer electrolyte membrane (PEM) fuel cells
(PEMFC), are a type of cell being developed for transport applications as well as for stationary fuel cell
applications and portable fuel cell applications. Their distinguishing features include lower
temperature/pressure ranges (50 to 100 C) and a special polymer electrolyte membrane. PEMFCs
operate on a similar principle to their younger sister technology PEM electrolysis.
A proton exchange membrane fuel cell transforms the chemical energy liberated during
the electrochemical reaction of hydrogen and oxygen to electrical energy, as opposed to the
direct combustion of hydrogen and oxygen gases to produce thermal energy.
A stream of hydrogen is delivered to the anode side of the membrane electrode assembly (MEA). At the
anode side it is catalytically split into protons and electrons. This oxidation half-cell reaction or
Hydrogen Oxidation Reaction (HOR) is represented by:
At the Anode:
SHE
The newly formed protons permeate through the polymer electrolyte membrane to the cathode side. The
electrons travel along an external load circuit to the cathode side of the MEA, thus creating
the current output of the fuel cell. Meanwhile, a stream of oxygen is delivered to the cathode side of the
MEA. At the cathode side oxygen molecules react with the protons permeating through the polymer
electrolyte membrane and the electrons arriving through the external circuit to form water molecules.
This reduction half-cell reaction oroxygen reduction reaction (ORR) is represented by:
At the cathode:
SHE
Overall reaction:
SHE
The reversible reaction is expressed in the equation and shows the reincorporation of the hydrogen
protons and electrons together with the oxygen molecule and the formation of one water molecule.

We should choose the 3.3 ohm resistor because with this value of resistance, the power supplied is
optimized which makes the speed of reaction fastest and therefore shortens the experiment time.
46.36% energy from the reaction convert to the electric and the other convert to heat
Power output of the fuel cell is approximately constants with time.
