Moreover, Wateen is the worlds first company to commercially roll out a WiMAX network on a nationwide scale. Wateen was recently ranked as the #1 wireless broadband service provider by PTA and won the Consumer Choice Award for the Best Internet Service Provide. Mr. Rizwan A. Qureshi is the assistant hr manager in Wateen telecom corporation, head quarter in Islamabad. He has done MBA in the subjects of human resource management and join Wateen telecom in the year 2009 to start his professional career .
Wateen requires a hard working and committed employees. To do this they set special interview panel to analyze the nature of the people whether they are perfect for the job or not. Moreover special compensation and benefits packages are given to the employees to earn their loyalty. Culture: Wateen telecom tried its level best to provide a friendly culture to its employees. To do this the hr department sets the flexible working schedule for the employees. They are given the proper relaxation time during the lunch break and that extra time is compensated with the extra half an hour working time. For the married employees special packages are given to them which benefits them. Other than this suggestion boxes are introduced in the corporation to provide opportunities to their employees to monitor the problems faced by them and try to make their workplace as efficient as possible.
