Title: the waters which were under the firmament and the waters which were above the

firmament

Genesis 1:6-8 Then God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. So the evening and the morning were the second day.

It says in todays Scriptures God divided the waters which were under the firmament fromt eh waters which were above teh firmament. I hope you do not hear todays message inattentively. You will face tragedy like Esau if you pay no attention to todays Word of God.

1. Gods work is the work of dividing the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament. Genesis 1:7 7 Thus God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament; and it was so. If then what are the waters which were under the firmament and the waters which were above the firmament?

Can these waters which were under and above the firmament be interpreted literally? It is a big mistake if you think the waters mentioned here indicate water.

Those who teach the Scriptures literally are people who are blind and who will be destroyed. Such people who could only drink milk and soup, what work can they do?

They can never go up higher than Jesus and at last, they will be crushed to death under Jesus just like the children of Israel were crushed to death under Moses.

At the time of Jesus, numerous priests and religious leaders were brood of vipers who were intoxicated by venom of vipers. Matthew 23:33 33 Serpents, brood of vipers! How can you escape the condemnation of hell? Think of the feeling of our Lord saying this to the religious leaders at the time as He spoke of 23 kinds of woe.

If you insist on literal interpretation of the Scriptures, you are bound to be destroyed. We ought to understand properly the meaning of the Scripture saying that the second coming Christ will come riding on a cloud.

Can you comprehend literally the Scripture saying that out of his heart will flow rivers of living water? It is the same for the Scripture which said 2 The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was[a] on the face of the deep.

If human body consists of 70% water then man is water and cloud in the sky is also water.

The waters which were under the firmament is contaminated water and fundamentally it is not living water, but the waters which were above the firmament is pure living water which is not contaminated. The saints of God must live drinking the waters which were above the firmament.

Cloud is the waters which were above the firmament and when this cloud comes down from a mountain valley to the ground and soaked into the ground. Then when it springs up, it becomes living water.

Although we are living in this world which is under the firmament, as for water, we must drink the waters which were above the firmament.

Where is the waters which were above the firmament in this land, then? Jesus Christ is the waters above the firmament that came down from heaven. Jesus Christ and the Word of Jesus Christ is living water.

John 4:14, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.

John 4:10, 10 Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, Give Me a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water. This Scripture revealed that Jesus Himself is living water and men are living water.

Matthew 11:28, 28 Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. For Jesus is the One who gives us rest, is not Jesus living water?

Jesus is the source of living water.

John 4:10, 10 Jesus answered and said to her, If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, Give Me a drink, you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water. This Scripture revealed that Jesus Himself is living water and men are living water.

Above the firmament is full of living water which is extremely clean and pure. In fact, the water that comes down from the sky such as snow, hail or rain is clean living water.

Sometimes it gets contaminated on the way down to earth because it gets mixed with dirt in the air, but when it is above the firmament it is extremely clean water.

1 John 5:6 6 This is He who came by water and bloodJesus Christ; not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is truth. As we see this Scripture we know that Jesus is the waters above the firmament.

Look at Gods mysterious and profound work that created the waters above the firmament. The Scripture says God binds us the water in His thick clouds.

Job 26:8, 8 He binds up the water in His thick clouds, Yet the clouds are not broken under it.

And in Job 36:27, 27 For He draws up drops of water, Which distill as rain from the mist,

The Word of God is water, namely, living water. Jesus said He will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. Revelation 21:6, 6 And He said to me, It is done![c] I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.

It says in the Scriptures, the Word of God is like the sound of many waters. Ezekiel 43:2, 2 And behold, the glory of the God of Israel came from the way of the east. His voice was like the sound of many waters; and the earth shone with His glory.

The Word of God is pure and therefore it is clean living water. Psalm 12:6, 6 The words of the LORD are pure words, Like silver tried in a furnace of earth, Purified seven times.

Psalm 19:8, 8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart; The commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes;

If dividing the waters which are under the firmament from the waters which are above the firmament is irrelevant to Gods providence in salvation, then why would God divide the waters?

Is it not Gods providence that intends us to understand something about salvation through such work?

2. The waters which were above the firmament and the waters which were under the firmament in the time of Noah. Genesis 6:1-3, 1 Now it came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 that the sons of God saw the daughters of men, that they were beautiful; and they took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. 3 And the LORD said, My Spirit shall not strive[a] with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years. This is the incident of the waters above the firmament and the waters under the firmament.

The sons of God are the waters above the firmament and the daughters of men are the waters under the firmament.

On the surface, the waters which are above the firmament indicate water vapours in the air such as cloud and fog, but when you look at it from inside perspective, the waters which were above the firmament indicate the sons of God.

On the other hand, the daughters of men become the waters which were under the firmament. It is a great sin that the waters which were above the firmament and the waters which were under the firmament unite together regardless of Gods will.

Think about the Word of God that says, Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. 2 Corinthians 6:14-18, 14 Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what communion has light with darkness? 15 And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? 16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you[b] are the temple of the living God. As God has said: I will dwell in them And walk among them. I will be their God, And they shall be My people.

3. The waters above the firmament and the waters under the firmament in the time of Jesus. John 1:12, . 12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:

Those who receive Him, those who believe in His name, children of God are the people who drink the waters which were above the firmament.

Just like there were the waters above the firmament and the waters under the firmament in the time of Noah (Genesis 6:1-3), at the time of Jesus, Jesus and Pharisees were the waters above the firmament and the waters under the firmament.

Jesus is the waters which were above the firmament and Pharisees are the waters which were under the firmament.

Jews who were the waters which were under the firmament said that the waters which were above the firmament, which was Jesus, had a demon.

John 8:48-52, 48 Then the Jews answered and said to Him, Do we not say rightly that You are a Samaritan and have a demon? 49 Jesus answered, I do not have a demon; but I honor My Father, and you dishonor Me. 50 And I do not seek My own glory; there is One who seeks and judges. 51 Most assuredly, I say to you, if anyone keeps My word he shall never see death. 52 Then the Jews said to Him, Now we know that You have a demon! Abraham is dead, and the prophets; and You say, If anyone keeps My word he shall never taste death.

Jesus did not have a demon, but had the Spirit of the Father, however, the Pharisees at the time had a demon.

The Pharisees said also to John the Baptist that he had a demon. Luke 7:33, 33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, He has a demon. 34 The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!

The Pharisees mistook the Spirit of God as a demon. Matthew 14:26, 26 And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost! And they cried out for fear.

The waters above the firmament and the waters under the firmament in John Chapter 9 John 9:1-33
Now as Jesus passed by, He saw a man who was blind from birth. 2 And His disciples asked Him, saying, Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind? 3 Jesus answered, Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him. 4 I[a] must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work. 5 As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. 6 When He had said these things, He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. 7 And He said to him, Go, wash in the pool of Siloam (which is translated, Sent). So he went and washed, and came back seeing. 8 Therefore the neighbors and those who previously had seen that he was blind[b] said, Is not this he who sat and begged? 9 Some said, This is he. Others said, He is like him.[c] He said, I am he. 10 Therefore they said to him, How were your eyes opened? 11 He answered and said, A Man called Jesus made clay and anointed my eyes and said to me, Go to the pool of[d] Siloam and wash. So I went and washed, and I received sight. 12 Then they said to him, Where is He? He said, I do not know.
1

The Pharisees Excommunicate the Healed Man

They brought him who formerly was blind to the Pharisees. 14 Now it was a Sabbath when Jesus made the clay and opened his eyes. 15 Then the Pharisees also asked him again how he had received his sight. He said to them, He put clay on my eyes, and I washed, and I see. 16 Therefore some of the Pharisees said, This Man is not from God, because He does not keep the Sabbath.
13

Others said, How can a man who is a sinner do such signs? And there was a division among them. 17 They said to the blind man again, What do you say about Him because He opened your eyes? He said, He is a prophet. 18 But the Jews did not believe concerning him, that he had been blind and received his sight, until they called the parents of him who had received his sight. 19 And they asked them, saying, Is this your son, who you say was born blind? How then does he now see? 20 His parents answered them and said, We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind; 21 but by what means he now sees we do not know, or who opened his eyes we do not know. He is of age; ask him. He will speak for himself. 22 His parents said these things because they feared the Jews, for the Jews had agreed already that if anyone confessed that He was Christ, he would be put out of the synagogue. 23 Therefore his parents said, He is of age; ask him. 24 So they again called the man who was blind, and said to him, Give God the glory! We know that this Man is a sinner. 25 He answered and said, Whether He is a sinner or not I do not know. One thing I know: that though I was blind, now I see. 26 Then they said to him again, What did He do to you? How did He open your eyes? 27 He answered them, I told you already, and you did not listen. Why do you want to hear it again? Do you also want to become His disciples? 28 Then they reviled him and said, You are His disciple, but we are Moses disciples. 29 We know that God spoke to Moses; as for this fellow, we do not know where He is from. 30 The man answered and said to them, Why, this is a marvelous thing, that you do not know where He is from; yet He has opened my eyes! 31 Now we know that God does not hear sinners; but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does His will, He hears him. 32 Since the world began it has been unheard of that anyone opened the eyes of one who was born blind. 33 If this Man were not from God, He could do nothing. 34 They answered and said to him, You were completely born in sins, and are you teaching us? And they cast him out.

Jesus opens the eyes of a man blind from birth. This man drank the waters above the firmament and the Pharisees who reproached the blind man are the great harlot who sits on many waters.

The Pharisees are the great harlot who dominate over many believers and make them commit fornication.

4. In the end days, people will be divided into the people who are under the firmament and the people who are above the firmament. Romans 8:5-9, 5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. 6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.

Those who set their minds on the things of the flesh are the waters (people) which are under the firmament and those who set their minds on the things of the Spirit are the waters (people) which are above the firmament.

The Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 15:50, 50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; nor does corruption inherit incorruption.

In Gods history of redemption, what are the waters which are above the firmament and the waters which are under the firmament? They symbolize two different kinds of Word of God.

Even in Word of God, there are the waters above the firmament and the waters under the firmament.

John 6:63-68, 63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you who do not believe. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were who did not believe, and who would betray Him. 65 And He said, Therefore I have said to you that no one can come to Me unless it has been granted to him by My Father. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. This Word of Jesus indicates two different levels of the Word of God; Word of God which is in the level of the Spirit is the waters which are above the firmament and Word of God which is in the level of life is the waters which are under the firmament.

Conclusively, it is the Word of God in the level of the Spirit that gives life, namely, the waters which are above the firmament. Please do not forget this conclusion that the Word of God is the waters which are above the firmament. From that time many of His disciples went back and walked with Him no more. 67 Then Jesus said to the twelve, Do you also want to go away? 68 But Simon Peter answered Him, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.
66

Many disciples who went back and walked with Jesus no more belonged to the waters which are under the firmament and the twelve disciples who said, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life, were attached to the waters which are above the firmament.

The Bible expresses knowledge of God as waters.

Isaiah 11:9, 9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My holy mountain, For the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD As the waters cover the sea.

Habakkuk 2:14, 14 For the earth will be filled With the knowledge of the glory of the LORD, As the waters cover the sea.
If the knowledge of the Lord is the waters, then the Scripture saying that a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life means that the knowledge of God will spread all over the world. Jeremiah 31:34, 34 No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD, for they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin I will remember no more.

Acts 13:44-46, 44 On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the word of God. 45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy; and contradicting and blaspheming, they opposed the things spoken by Paul. 46 Then Paul and Barnabas grew bold and said, It was necessary that the word of God should be spoken to you first; but since you reject it, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, behold, we turn to the Gentiles.

This Scripture shows how the Jews reacted to the gospel and for they judge themselves unworthy of everlasting life, the salvation turned to the Gentiles. The Jews are truly pathetic people because they kicked the living water right before their eyes without even casting a look.

Like the Word of God is waters, Solomon said, the words of a man is also waters. Proverbs 18:4, 4 The words of a mans mouth are deep waters; The wellspring of wisdom is a flowing brook.

In the end days, the great harlot who sits on the waters which are under the firmament is judged. Revelation 17:1, 1 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls came and talked with me, saying to me,[a] Come, I will show you the judgment of the great harlot who sits on many waters, Here, many waters mean the waters which are under the firmament.

Revelation 17:15, 15 Then he said to me, The waters which you saw, where the harlot sits, are peoples, multitudes, nations, and tongues.

The waters where the harlot sits are the waters which are under the firmament and these waters are peoples of this land.

Words of a man are the beings that challenge the Word of God and if a man does not have Word of God in him, the words of a man comes out of him.

In the end, this harlot who sits on the waters which are under the firmament is left for dead after being used by the beast.

Revelation 17:16, 16 And the ten horns which you saw on[d] the beast, these will hate the harlot, make her desolate and naked, eat her flesh and burn her with fire.

I hope you who are receiving this message believe that you are the people who belong to the waters which are above the firmament. You are the people who are clothes with white robes as described in Revelation in 7:9.

As it is written in Revelation 7:14, These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

1 Timothy 4:5, 5 for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. These are the people who are sanctified by the Word of God and prayer and they are the people who belong to the waters above the firmament.

White robes are the righteous acts of the saints as it is stated in Revelation 19:8.

1 Timothy 4:1-3, 1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in latter times some will depart from the faith, giving heed to deceiving spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron, 3 forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from foods which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and know the truth.

Those who receive doctrines of demons are the people who belong to the waters under the firmament and they belong to flesh, but those who know the truth are the people who belong to the waters above the firmament.

Here, forbidding to marry means they forbid the weddings in heaven and it means they forbid believing in Jesus and following after Jesus. John 3:29, 29 He who has the bride is the bridegroom; but the friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly because of the bridegrooms voice. Therefore this joy of mine is fulfilled. Jesus is the bridegroom and we are the brides and John the Baptist is the matchmaker.

The wedding day in heaven is drawing near. Revelation 19:7-8, 7 Let us be glad and rejoice and give Him glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and His wife has made herself ready. 8 And to her it was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and bright, for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints.

The people who forbid to marry are the ones who close the gate of heaven and blocking others from entering the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 23:13, 13 But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men; for you neither go in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. People who are commanding to abstain from foods too belong to the waters which are under the firmament. Foods mentioned here are daily foods and indicate spiritual food for the saints and commanding to abstain from foods mean therefore commanding to abstain from hearing the Word of God.

God said man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Deuteronomy 8:3, 3 So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the LORD.

Every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord means both the Words of blessing and the Words of curse. We do not live by the Words of blessing only, but also, by the Words of curse.

The Words of blessing could easily make men proud and arrogant, but the Words of curse, Words of condemnation rather have great effect on giving life to men.

Jesus, as He spoke of the second coming of the Son of Man, said that the Son of Man will come on the clouds of heaven (Matthew 24:30). The clouds with which the Son of Man comes are composed with the waters above the firmament, not the clouds composed of vapours from the waters under the firmament. And therefore, those clouds are the waters which are above the firmament.

The progress of faith comes as much as you understand and the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith. When we understand the Word of God we are drinking the waters above the firmament.

When Jesus was ascending into heaven after resurrection, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of peoples sight.

Acts 1:9-11, 9 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. 10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.

We must understand this Scripture correctly. When Jesus was ascending into heaven, two men in white apparel who were standing by the people said, This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven. And when Jesus was taken up a cloud received Him out of the peoples sight. When Jesus was ascending into heaven, a cloud covered Jesus out of the sight and in like manner, when Jesus is coming back a cloud will cover Him so that people cannot see Him coming. These two men prophesied how the second coming of Jesus will be. Then what does it mean by the second coming of Christ will be out of sight because of a cloud?

This cloud means the cloud of suffering and the cloud of doubt. And this means that sufferings of the second coming Christ will cover Him like a cloud so that people cannot recognize Christ. Christs coming on a cloud possesses such various meanings.

People who interpret and teach the Scriptures literally can never recognize Christ who comes on a cloud and they cannot receive the blessing of seeing and the blessing of hearing Christ. The Apostle Paul said there are outwardly Jews and inwardly Jews and this Word of God too is speaking of the waters under the firmament and the waters above the firmament. Romans 2:28-29, 28 For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; 29 but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.

Outwardly Jews are the waters which are under the firmament and inwardly Jews are the waters which are above the firmament.

The history of the waters which are above the firmament and the waters which are under the firmament that began from the beginning of creation is recorded in the Bible leaf after leaf in symbols and metaphors, but after you understand the meanings of the Scriptures, they are all talking about the waters above the firmament and the waters under the firmament. Matthew 13:34-35, 34 All these things Jesus spoke to the multitude in parables; and without a parable He did not speak to them, 35 that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying: I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things kept secret from the foundation of the world.

When you hear todays message very carefully, it is certain that we have removed one outer layer of the Word of God. And when you think about this deeply, is this not the proclamation of the One who breaks the seals? Who is the One who breaks the seals? Isnt He the Christ who is coming again?

The second coming Christ is the One who takes the little book from the One who sits on the throne and opens the seals.

Revelation 5:6-7, 6 And I looked, and behold,[c] in the midst of the throne and of the four living creatures, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as though it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. 7 Then He came and took the scroll out of the right hand of Him who sat on the throne.

Revelation 6:1, 1 Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals;[a] and I heard one of the four living creatures saying with a voice like thunder, Come and see. Like when a certain song of a singer becomes popular, all the rest of his songs become popular as well, if we understand the meaning of single Word of God, we get to understand the meaning of the whole Word of God.

I hope you receive into your hearts this Word of God of the little open book which is being proclaimed in the long history of this world and inscribe on your tablet of flesh so that you could read this Word of God even as you run and fulfill your duty as Gods two witnesses who proclaim this Word of God to the whole world. I bless you with the name of the Lord you all become such fruits of livinghope.
