Warehouses in the Decommission list include EDL, GAEDW, HMC, WEDW & ACTP, AEDW, CRDW, WADW, VADW (PPR and CURS), Specialty Warehouses (DDW and WDW). The success of the decommissioning process is dependent on the ability to continue to provide current functionality that is still required after the data warehouses are decommissioned All users, BI applications, Data Extracts, Reports and other applications pointing to the legacy warehouse are re-directed to use Edward.
Project Description
WellPoint has entered into a multiyear agreement with WebMD to provide health Content and other consumer related services as an extension to the web capabilities for members. The stake holders across the company including sales are reliant on this information to stay competitive in the market and to provide a steady level of customer service.
Project Objective
The objective of WEBMD-phase 2 project /RIM#204543, 215873,217551 is to
1. Track the missing demographic information. 2. Enhance the Member matching process change
Project Objective:
Define, establish, and implement an end-to-end HIPPENDS operational metrics and balances/controls work stream to:
Monitor and report on operational process effectiveness and efficiencies. Identify data flow discrepancies between various source and delivery systems supporting the end-to-end process. Determine current state of HIP PENDS operational and control metrics. Identify additional metrics required to enable end-to-end process monitoring and controls Identify required data attributes & source systems. Create inventory of end-to-end metrics and build metrics dashboard. Prioritize short term (quick wins) vs. long term metrics.
High Priority Metrics deals with monthly dashboard preparation by using the T-SQL Query Statements to identify the members who are over serviced and underserviced for those who had enrolled for their respective health management corporation programs. Aim of the High priority Metrics is to reduce the over servicing and under servicing by running the monthly dashboard for different metrics associated with hippends phase II.
By running these metrics logics Core&E2E, Product availability, E2E member, Contract File Balance, Group Eligibility, Member Eligibility and non-core Metrics and by analyzing the results we can find the under servicing and over servicing percentage whether there is increase or decrease. Role and Responsibilities
Running the metrics logic for different membership source systems and preparing the dashboard presentation to business team. Based on the client requirement logic changes have been done to obtain the optimized results for metrics dashboard. Unit testing has been done to check whether the applied logic is functioning properly. Analyzing the results from month on month basis to check whether there is drop in results and to analyze the logic.
