Course objectives: Provide students with the tools to understand the challenges of corporate strategy and its impact on all stakeholders Develop students skills in strategic analysis and development By the end of the course, students will be able to: Map out a companys stakeholders and their objectives Identify the coordination processes used Detect and delineate a companys strategic issues Address the specific aspects of the new strategic directions and the resources needed Develop appropriate strategic directions in response to the issues at hand

Course content: Introduction to strategic management Corporate macro environment Corporate governance: - Entities Stakeholders - Power Strategic deployment: - Coordination processes - Interaction Strategic levers : - Human resources Finance Information Technology Corporate development plans Strategic change: - Change diagnosis - Change management - Levers of change Group-centered strategy: - Group dynamics Conflicts Negotiation Assessment: Final exam and/or continuous assessment Assessment of regular attendance, work performed outside class periods and degree of active participation in class

Course objectives: Learn how to implement influence and persuasion strategies (lobbying, networks, pressure groups, crisis communication, etc.) Consider the impact of questionable information practices (disinformation, manipulation, denunciation, sectarian aberrations, etc.) Course content: Using information to influence and persuade The lobbying system How pressure groups operate The different networks Implementing a crisis communication plan The end of secrecy?
