Dissertation: Web Based Monitoring of Rural Distribution Sy stem (July 2008-June 2009)
To develop a Web Based monitoring system of distribution system realized on a three tier
architecture, which will facilitate user to retrieve and publish information easily via the hypertext
interface, form any geographical location and from any machine platform, using a web browser
and a internet connection. It will also give better transparency to the distribution system as
consumers will have access to the real time data of energy consumption, this will also facilitate
them to implement energy planning and budgeting through out the billing period.
Preparation of PDD (4 Months)
To study the Clean Development Mechanism and Prepare the Project Detail Document (PDD) as
per UNFCCC guidelines for obtaining carbon credit benefits of a green power project.
