Deadline Monitoring Problem in SAP workflow

This question is Not Answered.

Hi expert, I have problem with deadline monitoring in sap workflow. My scenario is sending one activity step to user. Supposed the user did not take any action for activity step by the particular time which i was mention in latest end tab then the escalation mail will goes to next level manager. I checked TCODE SWI1 where the activity step status is still ready after reached response time.Following step are i done for deadline monitoring. step1 . create activity step step: set time as 5 Min in latest end tab of activity step. step3: Action step is Modeled . step4: In Modeled branch , i have created on process control stop and select function " set workitem to be obsolete" and mention activity step node number into workflow step. No escalation mail not send to manager after crossing response time.Becase my activity step status is still ready after reached response time. I hope that you people are help me out to resolve this issue.
