Projects Undertaken & Completed Successfully

S. No. 1. A Project Title Project on of Practical Solar Power Remarks It included the theoretical study as well as practical assessment of the system that needs to be installed, taking into consideration the power demand, cost factor involved, capacity for installation etc. The course was done under the Design Lab. Course in 3rd Semester. It includes frequency control of the supply and load forecasting based on microprocessor.

Presented a working prototype model of a solar tracker in TECHNEX-08 which can sense the direction of light and maintain its surface normal to it. It is a cost effective model which can be implemented to enhance the efficiency of solar panels. It is taken as a B.Tech Project. Under this we are learning a language-VHDL and coding a program for realizing overcurrent relay on FPGA.

Industrial Training
Underwent one month Summer Training at NTPC Ltd.(Anta Gas Power Station), Anta, Dist.- Baran. (Rajasthan) from 01-06-2008 to 30-06-2008 and was awarded the Excellence Certificate A promising summer Industrial Training was done at BHEL, Haridwar for a period of 6 weeks 15-052009 to 30-06-2009 where I got familiar to the manufacturing process of 500MW turbo generator.

Areas of Interest
Power system: 1. 2. 3. High voltage DC / AC transmission lines. Design and operations of different kinds of Relays. Symmetrical and unsymmetrical fault analysis in transmission lines and machines.

Induction Motors. Transformers.

Certification/Accolades
Among Top 2% of the students at National Level to be selected through the Joint Entrance Exam 2006, for admission to The Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Sister institution of the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), the most reputed engineering colleges of the world. Received the merit certificate in TECHNEX-2007 for presenting a working model of solar tracker. Secured 556 rank in ALL INDIA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION 2006(AIEEE). Secured 15th rank (general category) in RAJASTHAN Pre-Engineering Test.

Extra Co-Curricular Activities

Captain of CHESS team in SPARDHA-2009. Secured 1st position in Chess in SPARDHA-2008,2010 (All India Inter College Sports Festival). Class Representative in B-Tech Part I and II.
