Read the text below and complete the following task.
When visiting someone's horne, it is important to be a courteous guest. lt
could make all the ditference between a pleasant stay or never being invited again.
Make sure you call first so that you can be specific with dates of arrival and
departure. When you arrive, the least you can do is arrive with a gift to show your
gratitude. Offering something as a way of thanking your hosts in advance is a
thoughtful gesture.
You should help out with the chores whenever possible. Your hosts probably
will not say anything to you if you do not help but you can be sure that you will not be
welcomed back because of it.
Ask your hosts what their favourite restaurant is and treat them to a nice meal.
You can all be at the same place at the same time to catch up.
Leave quietly and thoughtfully. lf you have to leave really early in the morning,
say your farewells the night before. Your hosts may not be on vacation as yorJ are
so do not overstay. A short stay is a pleasant stay and leaves everyone feeling
good about each other.
Once you have returned horne, make it a point to let your hosts know how
much you appreciate their hospitality. A card or phone call to thank them will also be
appreciated
