    AFFIDAVIT FOR CLEARING A TEMPORARY RESIDENTS GOODS THROUGH CUSTOMS AND EXCISE

    This is certify that I entered South Africa on (Y) (M) (D). My reason for entering the country is: The period of time I will spend in South Africa is (Y) (M). The goods I am bringing in are all used goods for my own personal use and not for resale. I have no objection to taking the prescribed oath to this effect. I consider the prescribed oath to be binding on my conscience. I know and understand the contents of the above declaration.

    Above affidavit must be witnessed and attested by either a Police Officer, or a Commissioner of Oaths.

    AFFIDAVIT FOR CLEARING A RETURNING RESIDENTS GOODS THROUGH CUSTOMS AND EXCISE
    This is certify that I left South Africa on (Y) (M) (D). My reason for leaving the country was: The period of time I spent abroad was (Y) (M). I permanently returned to South Africa on (Y) (M). The goods I am bringing in are all used goods for my own personal use and not for resale. The reason I am only bringing my goods in now, is ... I have no objection to taking the prescribed oath to this effect. I consider the prescribed oath to be binding on my conscience. I know and understand the contents of the above declaration.
