Code Of Ethics
As An Arbonne Independent Consultant I Will:
[1] I will conduct myself with integrity and responsibility and will make the Golden Rule the
cornerstone on which I build my business.
[2] I will uphold the values of Arbonne International and not engage in any deceptive, unlawful,
or unethical consumer or recruiting practice that may be detrimental or reflect poorly on
Arbonne International, the network marketing industry or me. I will support and advocate the
Policies and Procedures and also respect the spirit and intent in which they were written.
[3] I will familiarize myself with Arbonne's SuccessPlan and products and represent them to my
Clients and prospective Independent Consultants realistically and without misleading or
providing false expectations. Any claims, representations or statements I make regarding
Arbonne will be those included in the Arbonne literature.
[4] I will, to my best ability, accept and fulfill the responsibilities to train, motivate, support and
encourage all in my SuccessLine. I will treat my business like any other prestigious enterprise
and will fulfill commitments I make to my Clients, fellow Consultants and associates.
[5] I will not advise or encourage excessive buying at unrealistic levels. I will resell at least 70% of
all products or services that I purchase prior to purchasing additional products or services.
[6] I will convey The Arbonne opportunity to prospects with honesty and integrity and I will not
misrepresent actual or potential sales or earnings. I realize that each individual's success is
accomplished through their individual efforts.
[7] I will make courteous and prompt exchanges and/or refunds to my Clients and I will assist my
Clients who have ordered product directly from Arbonne International.
[8] I will maintain a basic loyalty and professionalism to the network marketing industry as a
whole and will not engage in unwarranted criticism of other network marketing companies.

“Things You Need To Know” about Policy Compliance
1. Sell, advertise and promote the Arbonne product and opportunity online outside of the myarbonne.com
program. This includes internet classifieds ads, i.e. Craigslist, MySpace, Facebook, YouTube, eBay,
Amazon, and the like.
2. Use Arbonne product names, logos, trademarks, copyrights, symbols, slogans or photographs for online
advertising, including television and radio.
3. Use any variation or abbreviations of the Arbonne name for email addresses or domain
names.
4. Publish, post or distribute any material in connection with Arbonne that is defamatory, libelous,
disparaging, threatening, offensive, harassing, abusive, obscene, pornographic or in violation of applicable
law.
5. Make any income claims. This does not prohibit you from explaining the Arbonne's compensation plan
and the potential to earn income, by referencing Arbonne’s ICCS.
6. Make any claims that Arbonne’s products can treat or cure disease (including personal testimonials) as to
therapeutic, curative or beneficial properties of any products offered by Arbonne. Make sure to use ONLY
claims that are approved and published on Arbonne’s website or in printed material.
7. Use non-Arbonne approved advertising, tools or materials to sell or promote the Arbonne products or
opportunity.
8. Enroll a spouse or other immediate household member of an active Consultant under any other sponsor
other than the front line of the first business (the “Senior business”) in the Immediate Household.
9. Sell or display Arbonne products to the general public in any office or business/commercial outlet, or
through home shopping network programs (i.e., HSN, QVC). The product may not be displayed in public
view, such as in a window display. Examples of outlets that may not sell Arbonne products or display
promotional materials include department stores, beauty supply stores, supermarkets, drug stores, health food
stores, discount establishments, swap meets, mall carts, kiosks and flea markets.
10. Offer any non-Arbonne products or business opportunities in conjunction with the offering of Arbonne
products or business plan. Arbonne Independent Consultants are free to participate in other business ventures
or marketing opportunities, however MAY NOT attempt to sell, solicit, enroll, encourage, or influence in
any way, either directly or indirectly, another Arbonne Independent Consultant or Client to enroll or
participate in another direct selling program. This includes introducing another direct selling program to an
Arbonne Independent Consultant OR the Consultant’s immediate household family member.

Hostess Coaching
Booking the presentation is the first step and by following a few simple steps this could greatly
increase your sales, relationship building, with hostess and their guests and also help you find a
business builder, new clients and of course helping everyone get the best Arbonne experience
possible. Being overwhelmed can cause fear and confusion!!
We want to treat our hostess like gold, not have them do 101 things before their presentation.
You are there to help them earn Free Product and by you helping them it will help you! Make
sure your hostess knows that she also plays a role in the success of her presentation.
#1 is to BE ORGANIZED- have hostess packages ready and on-hand in your bag at every
presentation, this will save your mailing or dropping the package off afterwards.
See “Packets, What to include” for a complete list of everything that goes into your Hostess
Pack.
Sales Tip: You want your hostess to be your best advocate at her presentation, so if she is
within driving distance, take her a TRY IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT Basket full of Arbonne products
to Sample. Here is a few examples of what could be in that basket: F8 Chews, Couple Packs of
Detox Tea, mini sizes of any products you may have on hand, package of Seasource Soak, a full
RE9 Demo Set, shampoo & conditioner etc. Take as many products as you can that won’t be
contaminated; basically keep in mind HEAD TO TOE! If you hostess is not driving distance, make
sure to put ALL kinds of Samples in the Hostess Pack for her to try before her presentation.
Wish list – By having your hostess fill this out ahead of time, it will save time at the end of the
presentation because she will already know what she wants, especially if you have given her a
Try it Basket or various Samples.
Samples Packs- **DO NOT SKIP THIS STEP** It will only prolong sales if you have to hand out
samples at your presentation! Call and make sure that the samples are handed out 5 days prior
to the show. Let your hostess know that when her guests bring back empty sample packets,
they will receive a FREE GIFT. If a guest who has a sample does not make it to the show, don’t
forget to FOLLOW UP with them by phone. You should make it a rule of Thumb to keep in
CONSTANT CONTACT with your hostess before your presentation; this will keep your
cancellation rate to a minimum because your hostess will be excited, as well she will know you
take your business serious and that you are counting on her.
Pre-Profiling
WHY Pre Profile, so we can find and fill a need for everyone at the presentation!
What this means is, you need to ask your HOSTESS for a list of people she has invited to her
presentation, along with their phone numbers so you can touch base with the guests before
hand.
DON’T BE AFRAID of this Step. You are calling to find a need and fill it at the presentation.
This way you know what to bring as far as product and information to the presentation. Let
them know you look forward to meeting them in person and thank them for supporting the
Hostess!

the hostess because she could be a potential business builder. So make sure you are planting
the seeds of the business before the presentation, along with during. Also, always ask the
hostess who she would have liked to have been there that was unable to attend. Let her know
that you have two baskets available that you can drop off for them to experience Arbonne in
the comfort of their home for 4 days. Or if it is long distance, ask her if she can send them a
sample of Arbonne products, compliments of her!

As guests arrive
Greet each guest and use the Sea Salt Scrub at the sink (use this time to introduce
yourself and build a rapport with them). Have the hostess invite them to get some snacks
and take a seat in the room for the Presentation. Give each guest a Client Profile
card/sheet to fill out.
If playing the Deal or No Deal game, hand out the boxes/tins and tell them to hang on to
them, don’t peak and you will explain later.

We will also play a game to allow you to earn a free gift. Each time you ask a question
about a product, you get a chew . Each time you ask a question about the business, you
get a bag of detox tea. The person with the most chews or detox tea at the end of the
presentation will receive the gift (FYI lip gloss-order under $120 for 24 and they cost you
$2!!)

Make a joke about not skipping ahead. We will go through portions together. Let them

• pH correct-the pH of the skin should be a 5.5 on a scale used to measure. If the
pH is not correct, it can become very dry and irritated or become too oily and
produce acne.
• Hypoallergenic: Arbonne products are formulated without the use of certain
ingredients that are frequently known to cause allergic reactions, and contain no
harsh chemicals. The term “hypoallergenic” does not mean non-allergenic, there
is not such thing. But the majority of people can use hypoallergenic products,

come up for Renewal.
It is important to remind them of their Arbonne Anniversary. Do this easily with a Renewal Postcard. You can

Be sure to let your renewals know when you are calling that when they spend 150 QV (approx. $190) that they
get 1 free product of approx. $18 value in their order from Arbonne (see Policy & Procedure manual for details
on this).
The important one to remember is the Renewal RSVP. Regardless of what the consultant or Preferred Client
has spent over the 12 months, they automatically qualify for this special, which is $840 in products for only
$420!!
They have their renewal month & the month after to purchase the Renewal RSVP. They HAVE to renew in
their renewal month, but can wait and do their RSVP in the month after if they wish. For example, for anyone
who signed up in May, they have to renew by end of May but will have May and June to purchase their

Mercedes Count gets even more staggering. For example, if Oklahoma's numbers doubled
from 141 to 282 over the next 5 years (which is very possible with over 3 million people!!!),
all the above numbers would also double to reach the same equivalent level of development.

These meetings are hosted by your National Vice President. At the National Meeting, there is
Consultant Recognition, Training, Product Knowledge and other valuable information shared
each month. They are an excellent way to meet and learn from other Arbonne consultants in
your area and successline. They are also ESSENTIAL to staying “plugged in” to your upline and
other team members. Three hours is considered local to drive to these meetings.

12 STEPS TO A SUCCESSFUL TRADE SHOW
1. Firstly, bear in mind the Arbonne Code of Ethics. Find out if there is already an Arbonne
booth scheduled to set up at the trade show. Please consider with courtesy the size of
the show and if another consultant already has a table booked (before you did), be
courteous and sit it out. Get on the waiting list for next year.
3. Decide how many Consultants are needed to work the show and fill the spots/shifts.
4. If you are the “owner” of the show, you are also the leader of the show. Fill the
spots/shifts and appoint different tasks for everyone involved in working the show. IE:
set up, tear down, showcase, tables, draw baskets, signs, banners, miscellaneous items,
table skirts **Product on display should be opened and available as testers.**
5. Set up a conference call with all participants to go over the individual tasks. Everyone
should be on the call! It is very important to delegate and to speak with each other
personally. Emailing duties will not work. Ensure that everyone knows their shift.
6. Everyone should be responsible for their own business aids. IE: catalogues, business
cards, brochures, samples
7. Decide together what incentive will be offered and promote this incentive as a group. IE:
If you have a draw for a spa basket, each participant should bring a product for the
basket. Tip: Play the Deal or No Deal game at your table! Make sure your boxes are eye
catching.
8. As a group, you must decide if samples will be given out or sold. Everyone needs to
agree on one way.
Tip: if you sell them you are more weeding out anyone who doesn’t seriously want to try
the product!
9. Be courteous and work together. Don’t sell your shift once you have committed to your
spot. If you must opt out before the show, then contact the person leading the group
and they will fill the spot.
When booking your trade show it’s important to make sure that there is only ONE ARBONNE table per show. This
should be on a first come first serve basis. Please do not go to a trade show with more than one Arbonne booth unless
the number of attendee’s is a very large amount. This is a common courtesy and keeping in the Arbonne Spirit!
21 Tips for Business Success
1. Be your own best customer.
First – Develop a clear vision of what you want from this business
(21 reasons).
Second – Love what you do. Your enthusiasm will be contagious!!!!
3. Stay in Action!!!!! 6 classes in 30 days! Try to have no less than 2 classes a week. Ask
your friends to try, compare and give an opinion on our products. Especially encourage
your wholesale buyers to pass sample packs out to friends and explain to your
wholesale buyers that they could service a few of their friends by doing this. *ONLY do
this is they have had a class or have booked a class with you.
5. Be a team player! Every time you help someone else get to the top, you are that much
closer to the top yourself. There is no “I” in team. Recognize your team for their hard
work and acknowledge your upline for their guidance!
6. Determine how many hours a week you can spend on your business. What are you
WILLING to do to see results & change your life?
7. Treat your business like a multimillion dollar business. Be professional (ex: if you say you
will call someone, make sure you call them). Make sure you follow through.
a. Make it a habit to say “Arbonne” first. (Ex. What do you do? I own my own
home based business with Arbonne International and am working my (JOB) on
the side). Be proud of this business that is bringing you success! If you don’t
take your business seriously, nobody else will!
8. Be coachable. What your upline tells you might not make sense or may move you out of
your comfort zone, but be willing to do it. Be willing to hear what you might not want to
hear.
9. Drip and wait for the results. Give people you are trying to sponsor a bit at a time. Keep
planting, planting, planting seeds and harvest will come.
10. Have daily action – set daily goals. Make your “to do” list every night for the following
day. Don’t ever put your business down!
a. Don’t mistake movement (organizing your office) for action (meeting potential
business builders, passing out sample packs, sponsoring calls, tracking clients,
etc.)
12. Don’t make decisions based on how you feel! If you think you can’t do this, try harder!
It can and will work for you. Make your business work!! YOUR attitude is YOUR choice!
13. Work in your fear zone. Once you do it, you feel great! Be confident in yourself by
believing in your business. Everyone can benefit from Arbonne … so why be afraid to
share it?
14. Keep it simple. Anybody can do this business (ex: use your class cards, keep your
presentation simple, etc.). Don’t reinvent the wheel.
15. Commit to personal growth. (Ex: Participating in a Women’s Health Seminar, training,
etc.)
17. Stop listening to dream stealers! Don’t listen to the opinions of anyone who has never
been successful in network marketing.
18. Set the pace. Think of this as your only “job”. If this were your only job, would you
move towards a promotion slow or fast? If you have something to fall back on, you will
fall back!
19. Make a commitment! Have a WHY! Prove to yourself that you can do it!
