OR 10-years post-Ph.D. teaching / research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. Assistant Professor of 1-Permanent Metallurgy & Materials Engineering (for Institute of Advanced Materials) (BS-19)

OR 2-years professional experience in the relevant field in a National or International Organization. 3. Lecturer in Veterinary 1- Permanent Sciences (BS-18) DVM (First Class) in Veterinary Sciences with no 3rd Division in the Academic Career from HEC recognized University/ Institution. No experience required. Note: The candidates holding a higher degree viz. M.Phil/Ph.D or equivalent degree but with only one third division in the entire academic career are eligible to apply 4. Lecturer in Education (BS-18) 1- Permanent First Class Masters Degree OR equivalent degree awarded after 16 years of education in Education with no 3 rd Division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University/Institution. No experience required. OR nd 2 class Masters Degree with higher qualifications (Masters Degree (foreign)/ M.Phil (Pakistan) OR equivalent degrees awarded after 18 years of education as determined by the HEC in the relevant field with no 3rd division in the academic career from an HEC recognized University/ Institution). Note: The candidates holding a higher degree viz. M.Phil/Ph.D or equivalent degree but with only one third division in the entire academic career are eligible to apply.

GENERAL I. Candidates applying for the post of Professors are required to submit five (05) sets of applications and candidates applying for the posts of Assistant Professors and Lecturers are required to submit one (01) set of application on the prescribed forms along with attested copies of degrees, result cards, transcripts and certificates with Research Work / Publications. In case, degree has not been issued, a certificate to that effect signed by the Controller of Examinations might be accepted. In all cases, statement of

experience must be supported by certificates from the employers. Applicants for all the posts of Engineering Faculty must attach valid certificate of PEC registration with their applications. II. Application forms can be had from the Deputy Registrar (Admin-I) by hand or by mail by sending a large size self-addressed envelop with Rs.35/- postage stamps. Forms will not be sent by post if an envelope as indicated is not sent. In case, application forms are required by courier service etc., a Bank draft of Rs.100/- in favour of the Treasurer, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan be sent. Application form can also be down loaded from B.Z.University web site: www.bzu.edu.pk. III. Applicants from abroad may submit their applications on plain paper, but they must supply complete bio-data along with copies of degrees/testimonials and experience certificates without which the application will not be considered. IV. Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate application forms with necessary documents, complete in all respect. V. Applications must be accompanied with bank draft (non- refundable) of Rs.500/- for the post of Professor, Rs.200/- for the post of Assistant Professor, Rs.100/- for the post of Lecturer, in favour of the Treasurer, Bahauddin Zakariya University, Multan. Applicants from abroad must send with their application a draft of $ 15/- (US) drawn in favour of the Treasurer. VI. A most recent passport size photograph should be affixed on the application form. VII. Candidates already in service of a Government/ Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must apply through proper channel by the due date, otherwise their application will not be entertained. Applications received after the last date will not be entertained, even though posted before the last date. Incomplete applications shall also not be entertained. VIII. Last date for receipt of applications for the post of Professor is 15th December 2011 and last date for receipt of applications for the posts of Assistant Professor and Lecturers is 30th November 2011, in the office of the Registrar, during office hours. NOTE:I. II. of III. Short listing of the Candidates shall be made in accordance with the procedure laid down by the University. Number of posts can be increased/ decreased according to the need the University. Nature of posts can be changed according to the need of the University.
