Advertisement No.GC/R&A/GAP0138/AP/ESC0202/MP/2013-14(25) A Walk-in-Interview will be held on 03.10.2013 at 11-00 AM at this Institute to engage bonafide Indian citizens for the following positions for working in different projects, tenable at CSIR-CGCRI, Kolkata: Project No. & Title GAP 0138 Thulium Doped AllFiber MOPA at 2 m region for Medical Application Jr. Research Fellow 01 No. Position Qualification M.Sc with minimum 55% marks in Physics Or 1st Class B.Tech./B.E in OptoElectronics/Electronics/Applied Optics Preference will be given to CSIRNET/GATE qualified candidates M. Sc. in Physics/Photonics/Electronics Science with minimum 55% marks. ESC 0202 Novel Fiber Laser Sources for Engineering and Medical Applications Project Fellow 02 Nos. Or 1st Class B. Tech./B. E. in OptoElectronics/Electronics/Applied Optics. Preference will be given to those candidates having CSIRNET/GATE qualified Rs.16000/- + H.R.A as admissible per month Rs.16,000/- + HRA per month Stipend tenure Initially 1 year or co-terminus with the duration of the project, whichever is earlier. Further extension for another 1 year may be given depending upon the progress of the project. Initially 2 years, likely to be extended or coterminus with the project, whichever is earlier. Further extension of another 2 years may be given depending upon the performance of the candidate

Age:

Upper Limit for all the above positions is 28 years (as on 01.09.2013) which is relaxable upto 5 years in the case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes/OBC/women/Physically handicapped applicants.

Interested candidates are requested to attend the above Walk-in-Interview along with Application Form & Bio-Data in the prescribed format as given hereinunder, duly filled in all the columns enclosing self attested copies of each supporting documents/certificates. The original certificates should also be brought with him/her at the time of interview for verification. The candidates should carry copies of their project thesis with them, if any. The candidates should report at least one hour before the scheduled time of interview for verification of documents. Incomplete applications without prescribed format and supporting documents will be summarily rejected. The candidates, who are waiting for final results, are not eligible. However, CSIR-CGCRI reserves the right not to fill up the position (s), if it so desires. The decision of the Institute shall be final in this behalf.
