Number T10112 revision 8 Project number SO12200027 Page 2 of 3 1.4 1.4.1 Conditional parts Construction In addition to the essential parts as mentioned at 1.1, the meter contains at least the following conditional parts: - housing; - transmission; - register. The meter can also be provided with low frequency impulse output. Housing The gas meter has a housing, which has sufficient tensile strength. The cover is made of steel sheet, the lower and upper case are connected with each other by a clamp. The register case is also connected to the upper case by screws. Examples of the housing are stated on documents no.s 10112/2-01, 10112/0-03, 10112/4-01 and 10112/6-01. 1.4.2 Transmission The transmission between the measuring part and the register is executed via a fixed mechanical (GNM) coupling or a magnetic (GN) coupling. When an electronic register is used the pulse transmission is checked using a three-pulse system. In document 10112/7-04 an example of the pulse transmission is shown. Register The indication can take place by two different means: - A mechanical register which indicates the volume in m3, by at least 5 drums before the comma and 3 drums after the comma. There can be two different versions of the mechanical register, see drawings no. 10112/2-05 and 10112/8-01 where examples of the counters are presented. - An electronic index register which indicates the volume in m3 on an LCD display with 9 digits of which at least 5 digits before the comma and 3 digits after the comma. The electronic index can optionally be equipped with temperature compensation. The use of the electronic register will results in an E or ET marking in the meter type. In documents no. 10112/7-01, 10112/7-02 and 10112/7-03 the drawings of the electronic register and its PCBs are presented. Adjustment The gas meter is adjustable by using the adjustment screw, see the adjustment instructions on document no. 10112/0-09. When equipped with the mechanical register as described in document no. 10112/8-01, the gas meter is also adjustable by choosing different gearwheel combinations as listed in document 10112/8-01, page 3. Software Measuring instrument type P Risk Class C; while extension L, T, D and S are not applicable or excluded. Software part Electronic register Version 1.2 Checksum 33 Remark The software version 1.2 and checksum 33 are presented on the display every 10 minutes for 6 seconds each.

Seals
The following items of the meter are sealed: The entrance to the register is sealed with one or more seals. If a separate nameplate is used to show the pulse value this nameplate has to be sealed.
See drawings no. 10112/0-03 and 10112/8-01 page 1 for an example of the sealing.
