My parents have always been a great influence in my life. Both

my parents and my leaders have always taught me the importance of having intimacy with God. I believe that before the
foundation of the world every one of us was chosen by God to
be holy and without stain (Ephesians 1:4 ) but life doesnt always work out that way.
When I was ten years old, I was attacked with the worst pain
in my whole body. My parents took me to the hospital. The
doctor diagnosed me with septic arthritis. Even though I didnt
quite understand what that meant, I knew that it was something very severe and it could leave me bound to a wheelchair.
But the faith that the Lord gave to my family is much greater
than any adversity. That day, my father stood by my hospital
bed and said to me, Daughter, dont worry. God is going to
heal you Then he laid his hands on me and prayed with authority and rebuked the spirit of infirmity in the name of our
Lord Jesus Christ. A few minutes later I realized that all pain
had left my body. God was very good to me and healed me
completely. The doctors were so baffled that ten of them examined me that whole day and they could not find one trace
of arthritis. The enemy knew that God had raised me up to be
a spiritual warrior. He wanted to mark my emotions with emotions with a terrible sickness and stop me from serving the
Lord through dace. However, God intervened and placed his
hand on me. Now my greatest desire is to be able to serve
him for the rest of my life.
This Book is written to show how thankful I am to the Lord for
having looked upon me with mercy. Every day the Lord allows
me to have intimacy with Him. I have always found that each
day he has a specific word or scripture for my life The words
that he has given me are for your life as well. You will have
the chance to take them and claim them as your own.

No one goes through a whole day without liking in a mirror.

We do it because we want to feel good about ourselves and we
want to look good in the eyes of others. In this same way, our
soul needs a daily look into the mirror of Gods Word. The
Word is a mirror that helps us to see out mistakes and shows
us the way to correct them. Likewise, we need to wash our

bodies daily. We must wash ourselves daily with the water of

the Word of God. Studying the Bible must become a daily lifestyle. Dont forget to take notes of everything that God ministers you, because what you write down will not only help you
strengthen your faith in God, but will also be a great help to
you throughout your life.
This Book is a manual for leaders to develop a strong devotional life before the Lord. What I share with you in this book
is what God has given me throughout my years of intimacy
with him. This is how I learned to hear his voice. In the beginning I would only write short phrases in my devotional book.
As years went by, he gave me a greater revelation of his Word
so that my devotional life could grow in intimacy. As a result, I
am a leader and have disciples.
I know the struggles of the young people. So, I wanted to
share these 52 teachings that will help you to nurture your
relationship with God and your disciples for a whole year.
Heres a hint. In order to read the Bible completely in one
year, you must read three chapters each day and five on
every Sunday.
I think that devotions must be part of our daily lifestyle. In our
family and in our church in Columbia, we have been able to
make prayer a lifestyle. What I share in this book is what I
have learned throughout my life from being in contact with
Gods Word and in prayer. You will find that in this book we
will be focusing on four main aspects? Because its a simple
language for your to extract the great truth that is found in
the word of God, which is the Bible lets examine the importance of each of the four aspects:
THE RHEMA WORD
The entire Bible is inspire by God, but there are passages that
when we read then they become personal to our souls. We
call it the Rhema Word. Also, the Rhema is what keeps us
firm as Christians; it is our daily spiritual nurturing. Pastor Cho
describes the rhema word as Gods specific word, at a specific
time, for a specific reason or need. For me, it is when I read
a portion of the Bible and I wait until the Holy Spirit makes it
real and alive in my life. Each rhema that you find in this Book
is for you to make it your own. Also, this section of the book
will be a guide for you to find Gods rhema.

Every time we study Gods Word we must do it in and orderly
way. The prophet Isaiah taught us how to study the Bible. He
said, Word after word, line after line, a little bit here and a
little bit there. While we go on studying each portion of the
Scripture, we should try to have a clear idea of everything that
the Lord wants to tell us. Those great en of God that conquered great things, their success was because they learned
to run that extra mile. In this portion of the book, we are running that extra mile because we are meditating more profoundly on the rhema word that God gave us.
MOTIVATION
Determination, action, impulse, inspiration: these are words
that describe motivation. I have been able to understand that
a leader must be motivating him/herself daily. Something that
motivates me personally is other peoples experiences; knowing that they were able to achieve them. This part of the book
is a little more personal. I share experiences that I have lived
or that I have learned from other people, so that you to may
receive motivation.
APPLICATION
Throughout this section, you will find help for your life, and for
your spiritual growth. If we practice what we learn daily from
the Word of God then we will see Gods blessing over our
lives daily.

RHEMA
This is the time that God has prepared to bring a great spiritual awakening to the nations of the earth. Acts 5 is a demonstration that multiplication and revival dont depend on us, but
on the Holy Spirit. The people began to give themselves to
the Lord because they saw something different in Jesus disciples. They could see the power of Jesus reflected in them.
REFLECTION
Why did the number of people increase in the early church?
They fulfilled the needs of the people. Also, they were able to
accomplish this because they gave an open road to the Holy
Spirit.
MOTIVATION
I remember when we had the first Encounter in Miami. It was
the first time that I would go as a guide at an Encounter. Before the Encounter, I worked hard in my own strength. I was
so worried that I called the girls everyday. I thought that success depended on my abilities and efforts. I was able to lead
some of the people. However, the Encounter was somewhat
difficult for me. I had not understood the importance of the
Holy Spirit doing the work. In the next Encounters, I saw the
difference when the Holy Spirit does the work because along
with my team, we were able to take 40 people to the Encounter. The majority of them are still serving the Lord.
APPLICATION
Peter was greatly used by the Lord. People were healed by his
shadow. You too can have the same anointing in your life.
Thats why you must make an effort to cultivate an intimate
relationship with the Lord every day of your life.

APPLICATION
The Holy Spirit is not far from us. He lives inside of our
hearts. Dont you know that you are the temple of the Holy
Spirit? He actually lives in you. He knows everything you feel,
think and do. That is why you need to cleanse yourself and
maintain holiness daily.
GOD TAKES CARE OF OUR MINISTRY

I, the LORD, watch over it; I water it continually. I guard it day

and night so that no one may harm it. (Isaiah27:3)
RHEMA
The desire of Gods heart is that we, the church, form disciples
all around the world. To accomplish this, its important to
know that God watches over us and we depend on Him and
only Him to obtain fruit.
REFLECTION
The vineyard represents our ministry. Our ministry includes
souls and the people in our cells. Christ is the one that
watches over it day and night. He pours out His Spirit so that
no one can harm it.If only there were briers and thorns confronting me! I would march against them in battle; I would set
them all on fire (Is.27:4). When Jesus died, my enemy was
defeated at the Cross.
MOTIVATION
The greatest joy in the life of a leader is to see the spiritual
growth of his disciples. This is what Im beginning to experience in my ministry. All thanks to Gods mercy, because He
was the one who brought them, healed them, and delivered
them. All I did was simply wait in Him.
APPLICATION
The day will come when the seeds that youve sown will grow
roots and bring forth fruit 100 times greater than you started.
You will be able to retain 100% of the fruit that youve won
because you came to understand that Christ is the one that
looks over your vineyard.

RHEMA
The greatest desire of your hearts should be to live under the
power of the Holy Spirit everyday of your life. Without the
Holy Spirit, miracles will not happen. He is the greatest reason for living. He is the one that feels the way you fee. This
is why you should make an effort to speak with Him everyday.
You should tell Him what you think. Take that time to tell Him
what He means to you.
REFLECTION
Benny Hinn illustrates the power of the Holy Spirit with a
light analogy. There are 3 forces involved:
1. The one who gives the order to turn on the light.
2. The one that executes the order of turning on the light.
3. The one that created light. (None of us can produce the
electricity that produces the light).
The Holy Spirit is the power. The Bible promises you will receive power He is the one who executes and carries out the
work of Jesus. Without Him, nothing happens.
MOTIVATION
Many times the enemy has tried to fill my mind with thoughts
that I do not deserve to have the anointing of the Holy Spirit.
He has also lied and told me that I dont have enough anointing to do certain things. In the midst of that, I remember that
I preached at a conference of more than 5,000 people. I had
never preached in front of so many people before. I said a
prayer to the Holy Spirit and I asked him for a sign, because I
wanted to know that He was with me. Before going up to
preach, the sign I asked for was fulfilled. By this, I knew that
He dwells within me, that He is real God and that He pays
close attention to every prayer that I lift up to Him.

RHEMA
Jesus, the excellent teacher, focused mostly on prayer. He
understood two characteristics on prayer according to Luke
18:1. The first characteristic is that prayer is a need. My
spiritual life depends on prayer. The second characteristic is
that praying requires determination. Through prayer, your
strengths are renewed. The Holy Spirit lives in the depth of
your heart to make you strong, gives you encouragement, and
tells you what you can do. He tells you that you can conquer
your enemies, you will achieve your goals, and that God will
do great things through you.
REFLECTION
Perseverance is keeping yourself steadfast in what you are doing without caring about the obstacles nor the difficulty that
you may face. I am sure that we, as leaders, have had to face
many distractions in order to pray and get in the presence of
God. Jesus taught through the widow what was to persevere
in prayer.
MOTIVATION
The widow didnt waste her time by complaining or agonizing
within herself, she cries out with her whole heart, DO JUSTICE WITH MY ADVERSARY! Even though she dealt with opposition for a long time, she still persevered. Her perseverance
helped her what she desired.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins and will raise up the age-old
foundations; you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings. (Isaiah 58:12)

Why was Isaiah preaching and giving the message of salvation? There was love in his heart for his city. Compassion is
the love that leads you to action. When we dont preach the
Gospel, its because we lack compassion. Love for his city was
what kept Isaiah in prayer. The compassion level that I love
souls will be the same level that I cry our for them.
REFLECTION
Compassion is the key to revival because it the only thing that
keeps you firm, keeps you praying, and keeps you crying out
for what you love.
MOTIVATION
When God brought us from Colombia to Miami, the challenge
was very great. Beginning a ministry in Miami with no members after having left Bogota with one of the largest churches
in the world was the biggest paradigm shift. But I thank God
for the move because Miami was where God began to give me
a love for the ministry. I learned to value each soul that
would come to my cell group. In Colombia, I was used to seeing the multitudes. But Miami, each Sunday was a battle of
faith. In the beginning, it was not easy because I wanted to
see a fully packed coliseum. But God has taught me that everything I want requires a price.
APPLICATION
For the love of this nation, you must not be silent. You must
speak what is in your heart regardless of the obstacles. You
must pay the price in prayer. True compassion is the love that
should lead you to give everything.

God created me for a great purpose. Before I was born, He
knew my inward parts. Gods perspective is very different
than ours. When others only see flaws, He sees possibilities.
REFLECTION
I heard one of my leaders say, Self image is what determines
our future. If you dont understand this, you dont believe in
yourself and you will not be able to believe in your disciples.
There was a time that Jeremiah did not believe in himself. He
thought he didnt have the ability to preach. He thought he
didnt have the ability to preach. His terrible self-image was
the reason that he struggled every time he had to speak in
front of people, even after God gave him an awesome word of
motivation. When the Lord called me, my response to God
was similar to Jeremiahs answer to the Lord. He said, I do
not know how to speak, Im only child.

This verse clearly shows the power of deliverance. Many
times we act in a way that we dont want to act because we
need more deliverance. If we are aware of any areas in our
lives that are not under the control of the Holy Spirit, it is a
sign that we need deliverance.
REFLECTION
There is so much power in the name of Jesus. Demons know
who has the anointing, so they do not resist the name of Jesus. The demons fight to take the anointing away from the
people, so they lose the authority of deliverance.
MOTIVATION
Derek Prince writes that he had to fight against a spirit of depression. He would pray and seek after God, but he still felt
sadness in his heart and heard a voice that would tell him,
Others will have success, but not you. In conclusion, I found
three things that he did to obtain total deliverance.
1. He used the Word to identify the spirit.
2. He identified the root of the spirit. The root is the door of
entry that the spirit used to get into his life.
3. He prayed with all his heart and broke every spirit off of
his life.
APPLICATION
When the Principal of the synagogue was in the midst of the

Dreams are the language of the Spirit of God. His language is
not made of any small, insignificant dreams. His language is
in dreams that will change lives, change entire families, and
change nations. But God is counting on my life to make this
dream a reality.
REFLECTION
In order for this dream to become a reality, the first thing I
need to do is to renew my mind. The way I think will dictate
the way that I act. The renewing of the mind has to be done
daily. The only way to be renewed is through the Word of
God.
My mother is someone who has been able to understand the
power of thoughts. She is a woman of faith and has purposed
to never accept anything negative about any other person or
any situation.
She is determined to only speak positive
things. This is why God has given her one of the largest ministries in the world.
MOTIVATION
Recently, God taught me a lesson about the power of
thoughts. Late one late night, I was on way back from an Encounter and I was very tired. It was around eleven oclock at
night. I was attentively driving my car on a very dark road.
It was very narrow, with only one lane in each direction, and
most of the other vehicles on the road were trucks. At a certain point I saw a light far away. It looked like a trucks headlights. I began to feed my mind with the idea that it was traveling directly towards my car. I was really scared and I began
to influence those who were with me. As the vehicle approached and the light got closer to us, I started honking and
reduced my speed.

Its time that leaders rise up and recover the vision God gave
to us. The Word says that everything that does not come
from faith is sin. It also says that everything that does not
come from faith is sin. It also says that the people will perish
without vision. In Ez.12:22, God exhorts the people of Israel
because they were saying that the vision was coming to nothing. They were also allowing doubt in their hearts.
REFLECTION
God wants us to have a clear and specific goals. He wants us
to work day and night to see our dreams come true. Through
the G12 Vision, God has been removing all vanity. The Vision
is not only for the Pastor, but for each and every member who
enters into it.
MOTIVATION
My father is a man of vision. He is a person who has understood the power of goals and dreams. I admire the way he
constantly works until he reaches his goal. There is a great
price he has to pay to obtain them. Sometimes this price includes staying up all night long writing to complete the goals
he is determined to achieve. But since he is a man of vision
and goals, he has been able to bless thousands of families
around the world.
APPLICATION
God wants me to renew my mind today. He doesnt want me
to have the conviction in my heart that this year I will start a
firm and solid ministry. With each one of the promises that
God gives you, He will give you great motivation to reach the
goals you have purposed to accomplish.

We must believe that the only way to know the purpose of our
life is through the Holy Spirit. He is the only person who can
help us develop our maximum potential. The Lord is the only
one who can put love in our hearts toward the people we dont
know. A successful ministry depends on our fellowship with
Him.
MOTIVATION
My mother is a great example to me of what it means to have
an intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. She has truly
become His friend. I remember an occasion when she went to
Europe. She wanted to buy her favorite perfume. It was one
that she couldnt find the United States. When she got to the
mall, she forgot the name of the perfume. Even though she
tried to find it in several different ways, she couldnt. That
night the Holy Spirit gave her the name of the perfume, which
to her surprise was in French. The next day, the first thing
she did was wrote it down and bought it. The Holy Spirit is
with her in everything she does, even in the seemingly insignificant things.
APPLICATION
You have to give the Holy Spirit the place He deserves in your
life. You must understand that in order to be a friend of God
you have to be alone with Him every day and always believe
what He speaks to your heart.

God has chosen us to impact thousands of youth in this nation. The way He wants us to do it through our testimony.
Ezekiel was used by God to touch an entire nation through his
testimony. How does giving my testimony work for God? It is
a declaration of what God has done through me. It is my belief reflected in my attitudes, words, and thoughts. The best
way to preach is through my testimony.
REFLECTION
The first thing that made Ezekiels testimony great was that
God had the first place. There was nothing before God, not
even his wife. Ezekiel 24:16 says, Son of Man, with one blow
I am about to take away the delight of your eyes. Yet do not
lament or weep or shed any tears. This verse clearly shows
that Ezekiels wife was his great delight. He truly loved her,
and she was his support in everything. Then God simply said:
Your wife will die yet do not cry. God was number one, even
before his wife.
Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression
of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever
but delight to show mercy. (Micah 7:18)

wife. Ezekiel passed the test and obeyed 100%. God wants
to take us to a new level of intimacy with Him every year.

I was studying the life of J. Hudson Taylor. He was the first
missionary in China. Through his life, I have found what compassion means. This young man from England left everything
to preach in China. After about a five and a half month trip on
a boat, he arrived with the desire to win many souls. The first
thing he did was, learn the Chinese language. He changed his
way of eating and the way he dressed. He died to everything
but his love for the Chinese people. At the moment of his
death, his legacy included 849 missionaries who established
129,000 Christian Chinese Churches.

APPLICATION
We as leaders need four of the things that the Prophet Joel

Intercession with tears. (Vs. 17)
These spiritual principles will transform the curses into
blessings:
Compassion will be a part of my life.

RHEMA
This prophecy of Joel is of the end time. Fasting in the congregation leads the church to a genuine repentance. This
way, we are able to transform curses into blessings. Joel 2:19
gives three things that transform lives:
The bread represents the power of the Word of God, as
food for the soul.
The new wine represents the power of the blood that Jesus
shed.
The oil is a representation of the anointing of the Holy
Spirit in each life.
REFLECTION
Render your heart and not your garments. (Joel 2:13). This
scripture represents repentance. This means that you must
humble yourself in private before the Lord. True communion
is not about appearance, but the condition of the heart. God
can deposit His anointing in a heart that is trustworthy and
truly repentant. This happens when a persons life has already
been broken he has died to himself, and lives only for God.
MOTIVATION
Everything we have done in ministry has been obtained
through fasting and prayer. We have an annual time of fasting and prayer. We do this in order to conquer the different
goals that we have set for the year. We have always seen our
prayers answered. By doing this spiritual exercise, we clean
the citys atmosphere, and God prepares the hearts of His
people and makes them ready to receive the message of His
word.

He urged them to plead for mercy from the God of heaven concerning
this mystery, so that he and his friends might not be executed with the
rest of the wise men of Babylon. (Daniel 2:18)
RHEMA
What is a life of faith? It is to walk over the circumstances and
not under them. This was the attitude that Daniel had at the
moment that Arioch, the kings captain, told him about the
kings command. The king demanded a death sentence for
Daniel and his friends. The prophets attitude was not of anguish because he knew power of specific prayer and the
prayer of agreement. That same night, God revealed to him
the mystery and his petition.
REFLECTION
The life of faith demonstrates faith. When we jump into great
challenges we must seek God even more. We must pray like
never before, just a Daniel did. And he did not do it alone, but
rather he prayed with his friends. Together, they interceded
for the cause (Daniel 2:18). He understood the power of the
prayer of three.
MOTIVATION
My mother lived something similar at the moment of the attempted assassination. For ten days, my father was hanging
between life and death. All she did was pray. I remember
that she wouldnt even sleep or eat because she knew that my
fathers life depended on her prayer. But my mother was not
praying alone. The whole church was moved to intercede day
and night for their Pastors life. Thanks to these prayers, my
father is alive today. Because of the prayers that Daniel and
his friends prayed, God revealed the interpretation of the
dream to him. Prayer moves the hand of God.

APPLICATION
I was studying about the seven places where Jesus bled. The
first place was at Gethsemane. There, Jesus experienced one
of the moments of His greatest anguish. He was in such anguish that His drops of sweat became like drops of blood.
Through the drops of blood in His agony, your anguish was
canceled. Make the decision to be like Daniel. Dont get anguished. Believe in the power of the blood of Jesus and depend only on the Lord.

Sow for yourselves righteousness, reap the fruit of unfailing love,

and break up your unplowed ground; for it is time to seek the LORD,
