For your information regarding our mission Hill-tribes’ Mission Aid of India (HMAI), we

are mainly working in Evangelism, Church Planting, Conducting and hosting Seminars,
Leadership Training, Crusades, Caring needy children in education, supporting Bible
Students & Missionaries, etc. Recently in 2008, we had open a new school (Hill-tribes’
Mission School) at Muolhlum Village, Rengkai, Churachandpur. There are 64 students
enrolled for the first year. We charge a small amount for their tuition fee. However, due to
financial problem face by the parents, about 30 students were drop out. This year we can
enroll only 56 students up to class III. In our school though we supply school uniforms,
exercise books (note books) and material free of cost to the students, their parent could
not pay their children fees. The Board Meeting of our Mission is planning to introduce
new program called School Relief Program (SRP) for our 56 students and other 504
students (Total 560) by the coming next year.
In this SRP all the students enrolled in the school will receive school uniforms, ex-books,
pencils and Rs. 40/- per month for their school fee (this is just for relief) and grant for
repairing school building will be given out yearly to selected schools. Teachers’ Training
also will be conducted time to time free of cost. The school authority must allow a team
of HMAI to visit their school once a year to share about Jesus. However, the school must
be an approved member of HMAI. To obtain approval, the Board or Principal of the
school should write an application to the Director of HMAI. We are sure that there are
hundreds of private schools in hundreds of village in the Northeast India itself. We expect
at least 10 schools to join our new program by this year. But the program will be started
by next academic year.
Our mission introduce this SRP is because we want to educate all the tribal children of
Northeast India and her adjoining countries like, Burma, Bangladesh, Tibet, etc. The main
objective of introducing SRP is to reach more children by the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We
are planning to make budget from our mission evangelism fund since this program will
be a part of child evangelism. We hope and pray that by this new program, the whole
Northeast India will soon be evangelized. We are planning to raise fund to any individual,
organizations or groups, therefore, if God touch your heart for this program, you can send
