Arch/IDD/IMT/IMS students of old curricula admitted through JEE and M.Sc. and M. Tech students admitted through JAM are required to register their preferences for Institute Elective (IE) courses for Spring Semester 2013-14 through ON-LINE PRE-REGISTRATION activity opened during September 16 23, 2013 using the following links: http://acadinfo1.iitr.ernet.in/CampusLynxIITR/ http://acadinfo2.iitr.ernet.in/CampusLynxIITR/ Students should NOTE the following CAREFULLY: The registration for IE courses is required ONLY for the students in the OLD curricula. The First year students of UG/IDD/IMS/IMT program who are admitted through JEE in Autumn 2013-14 are NOT required to carry out this exercise. Fill all possible choices. Before filling up the preferences for the courses listed in enclosed Table: Critically study the syllabi (downloadable from http://192.168.121.2/acadinfo/) of the IE courses. Make sure that you have already passed the pre-requisite courses, if any, for an IE course, as given in the table enclosed. Dated: September 14, 2013.

Allocation of the courses will be done as per merit and the preferences given by a student. Once allotted, NO REQUEST FOR THE CHANGE in the IE course will be entertained. However, withdrawal from an IE course may be allowed, as admissible as per academic calendar of Spring 2013-14. In case, students fail to pre-register during the above schedule, pre-registration may be allowed with a late fee of Rs. 1000/- during October 1-8, 2013 through a request in person in the Academic Section ONLY on production of receipt from the Account Section. After October 08, 2013, the pre-registration of IE courses will be CLOSED. NO REQUESTS for including IE course will be entertained at the time of Academic Registration in Spring Semester 2013-14. Branch restriction mentioned against any IE course means that the students of that branch are NOT ALLOWED to give preference of that IE course. Further, students may contact the Departments offering the courses of their choice to ensure the pre-requisite and detailed syllabus of the respective course. Students of Saharanpur Campus are advised to periodically check the academic section of the website for changes in the list of IE courses offered, if any.
