Arist-in-Residence
Jared Andrew Schorr is an illustrator living in Southern California. Jared received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration from the Art Center College of Design in 2009 and specializes in creating whimsical and detailed work entirely from cut paper. His works have appeared in various notable magazines and in exhibits at select galleries throughout the United States. Jared will be on hand for a live performance piece every Friday through Sunday throughout the month of August from 5-9 p.m.

This contemporary space is home to over 25 new artists and artisans, featuring unique one-of-a-kind pieces and never before seen artwork, created in a variety of different mediums. For more information and a complete list of artists, check www.wondergroundgallery.com.

Meet Artist Noah at the Disneyana Shop on Aug. 11 as he takes part in a special Artist Showcase from 9 a.m. to Noon. Noah will debut two of his newest Princess inspired pieces including Evening Waltz inspired by Beauty and the Beast and Ariel and Flounder. These pieces will be released as Limited Edition Prints on Canvas. In addition, be on the lookout for additional Halo works by Noah that have never been seen.

Car Show at Disneyland

Gear Up For Adventure Pin Collection & Signing

Aug. 17

Hitch a ride and race over for the Car Show at Disneyland collection. Pins range from characters like Tinker Bell, Oswald, Jessica Rabbit, Dumbo, Woody, Buzz, Sulley and the Yeti, to an array of pins idolizing hood ornaments, trophies and keys. This collection will be offered in conjunction with the online wristband process. The entry period to enter the opportunity to purchase any of these pins is taking place now through Aug. 8 via DisneyPins.com. Sign up now! The Car Show at Disneyland collection will release at Disneys Pin Traders in the Downtown Disney District on Aug. 17 in conjunction with the online wristband process.

Guests who have obtained a Gear Up For Adventure online wristband will have the opportunity to meet the artists and have pins from the Car Show at Disneyland collection signed.

Guests can come out and trade Disney Pins with Cast as well as avid and novice pin traders, daily from 1-3 p.m. at Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree in Frontierland at Disneyland Park. In addition, Guests may ask about other special pin trading activities taking place throughout the day.

Meet and trade with fellow Disney Pin and Vinylmation collectors during our Disneyland Resort Trading Night, taking place Aug. 17, from 7 to 10 p.m. in the Pacific Ballroom at Disneys Paradise Pier Hotel.
