PRO-LIFE MEDICAL CLINIC COMING TO LB

M ay the Lord bless all of our dear parishioners who pray and make sacrifices daily for the cause
of the unborn. God hears your prayers! I have great news for you! Birth Choice--a prolife,
medical clinic, is opening its doors just down the street from Long Beach’s most notorious abortion
mill. At the so-called Family Planning Associates “clinic,” highly paid abortionists, assisted by their
well compensated staff, perform upwards to 50 abortions per day. What is more, this particular
“abortuary” is also 1 of only 5 in the entire nation that still does late term (3rd trimester) abortions.
We have small, but faithful army of prayer warriors and sidewalk counselors who keep a
steady presence outside the gates of this modern day death camp. Not a few mothers have decided
not to abort as a result of the prayers and encouragement given by our pro-life apostolate. Unfortu-
nately, many more mothers and fathers ignore those pleas. Now, however, with our Birth Choice
Clinic just a few steps away from the abortion mill, we will be able to offer immediate assistance to
those who desire.
BIRTH CHOICE VOLUNTEER TRAINING
Birth Choice is a non-profit, pro-life organization on the front lines of the right-to-life movement
reaching out to young men and women facing unplanned pregnancies and decisions regarding their
sexual health. This summer we are very excited to announce the opening of our newest life affirming
clinic in Long Beach. We need volunteers to counsel clients, provide office support, and as a li-
censed medical clinic, we will also need nurses, nurse practitioners, sonographers and medical doc-
tors willing to donate their time and skills to provide services for our clients. We have two identical
training series. Monday nights in Long Beach (July 13, 20 and 27) or Thursday nights in Orange

should already have been a registered, envelope using parish-
ioner. We do not accept for our CATECHISM PROGRAMS
those who live outside our parish boundaries and who are not
already registered and active parishioners of Holy Innocents.
To register as a parish member, inquire at the rectory during the
regular office hours.
