Duty: Continuous Speed: 1450/2900 rpm Operational requirement See general specifications Sound level: less than 90 dba at a distance of 1-mtr from pump Critical surfaces of shaft ground to less than 0.8 micron. CONSTRUCTIONAL FEATURES: Pump and accessories shall be designed and manufactured as per manufacturer standard practice conforming to relevant standard with the following minimum requirement.

CASING: - Horizontal Single stage back pull out design, volute casing with top centre line discharge and end suction, Horizontal single stage with side suction and side discharge, self venting arrangement with vortex suppression vanes with fully confined casing gaskets on the atmospheric side to prevent blow out. IMPELLER: Single piece cast, statically and dynamically balanced closed impeller with back vanes, top discharge volute for smooth flow of liquid. SHAFT AND SLEEVE: Rotating element (Impeller, renewable shaft sleeve. Bearings and balancing device) retained on a single piece machined/ ground shaft with single key way for single stage and multiple key ways for multi stage pump. STUFFING BOX AND PACKING: Large and deep stuffing box designed to accommodate split type gland packing and lantern ring. BEARING AND HOUSING: Housing equipped with either grease or oil bath lubrication system complete with antifriction radial/thrust type bearings (L-10 rating), constant level oiler with visible oil supply, oil seals on each end, breather drain / fill point and lip type seal on each end of housing. SUCTION AND DISCHARGE CONNECTION: Suction and discharge connections designed for same rating and cast integral with casing along with support feet. Flange dimension and rating shall be as per ANSI B 16.5 class complete with gasket, nuts, bolts or studs. Provision for vent, pressure gauge and drain connection. COUPLING: Suitable flexible spacer type /jaw type dynamically balanced with removable mesh type guard and match marks for alignment with service factor not less than 1.5. BASE PLATE: Should be single fabricated steel unit, multiple section base plate having machined and dovelled mating. Main member of base plate should be medium duty C channel. Base plate should have proper drain pan. The channel size should not be smaller than 4 for pump upto 25 hp and 5 for pumps above 25 hp. Foot pads of the pump should have properly machined surfaces in a single plane. Same is applicable for feet of motor.

Lifting eye bolts/Lugs shall be provided for ease of lifting pump and motor. Painting: Complete fabricated material shall be sand blasted to white metal, primed with Zinc rich epoxy primer and top coating with polyurethane paint to protect against corrosion, as per manufacturer's standard practice, to ensure durability & reliability for a minimum period of 3 years. SPARE PARTS, TOOLS, DOCUMENTATION: Guaranteed supply of spare parts Two sets of tools including special tools (impeller removal wrench, packing ring removal hook). Documentation includes installation / schematic drawings, maintenance, operational and spare parts manual, Performance curves and material test certificates and as built drawing. Two sets of hard and soft copies of (mentioned at 8.3) documents are to be provided along with the pump and another two sets of hard & soft copies of same to be provided at the time of pre-commissioning.

COMMISSIONING After installation of pump at site, Commissioning and field testing of the pump shall be in the scope of vendor. The commissioning shall be carried out by running the pump for 48 hours. Supplier will run the pump for 48 hrs. All operating parameters of pump during commissioning will be taken & maintained by vendor. On successful commissioning of pump it will be handed over to ONGC. Lubricant shall be provided by ONGC. Other material/spares if required at the time of commissioning shall have to be provided by the vendor.

ANNEXURE - II INSPECTION PROCEDURE FOR CENTRIFUGAL EFFLUENT TRANSFER PUMP Inspection will be carried out in conformity specifications and relevant codes/ standards. i) with the ordered

Visual check: i) Name plate details. ii) Dimensions, wherever applicable. iii) Casting defects like shrinkage holes, blow holes, cracks or other mechanical defects. iv) Arrow of pump rotation. v) Lubrication system vi) Suction - discharge connection. vii) Motor details as per ordered specifications. viii) Spares/accessories if any.

ii) Performance tests: (to be witnessed by ONGC) The testing shall be arranged by the vendor. All arrangement for the testing shall be in the scope of the vendor. I) The pump set shall be tested with water at 'No load' and at 'Full load' (rated discharge & rated head). The following observations be made:a) Check undue shock, hammering, vibrations, leakage or any other mechanical defect. b) Check bearing temperature and RPM of pump. c) Measure the discharge and head - the value of measured discharge and measured head should not be less than the specified values (rated discharge and rated head). D) Check the performance curves- the curves during the test performance should be compatible with OEM's prescribed performance curves. II) a) Documentation Certificate that the centrifugal effluent transfer pump set has been designed, manufactured and tested to meet the specified requirements. Certificate from OEM that the pump set has been hydraulically tested at a minimum of 1.5 times the maximum discharge pressure Performance characteristic of the pump from OEM's end. Material of construction as per specifications. ONGC if desires can get the material tested from approved laboratories for the same. Warranty/ guarantee certificate.
