Supports Pro-Business Tax Policies: The candidate supports tax and revenue generating policies that enhance business growth, including limited increases in property and earning tax rates and new fees on businesses and individuals. Supports Fiscal Responsibility: The candidate understands the importance of structurally balancing the citys operating and capital budgets, supports government collaboration and has a responsible plan to fix the underfunded pension system. Supports Competitive Labor Policies: The candidate supports city contract requirements that encourage and foster business growth for all businesses. Supports Responsible Government: The candidate opposes governmental regulations that are duplicative, unnecessary, and limit the ability of businesses to grow. Supports Strong Economic Development Investments: The candidate supports investments in the Chambers priority infrastructure projects, the MLK/I-71 interchange and the Brent Spence Bridge, as well as regional job growth initiatives.
