RULES:
Word limit approximately 1500, accompanying pictures- maximum three minimum one. Every college has to send in a maximum of 5 entries and a minimum of one entry. A maximum number of three clearly identified students can work on each entry. The entry should be submitted in the format specified so that the identity of the team members, the team or the institution they belong is not revealed to the judges. Soft copy of the text is to be sent by e-mail on usec.met2013@gmail.com The entry should be accompanied by letter from the HOD/ Principal on the college letter head with the name/s of the authors and the institution. Eligibility format margins- 10 mm on top, bottom and right, 15 mm on the left. Specifications: Aerial (body) font, font size 11, spacing between the lines- 1.5. NASA logo shall be at bottom right of all the pages of the entry in accordance with the NASA logo guidelines.

The author/s will give a written declaration stating that the work is the original intellectual property of
respective author, and will be solely responsible and liable in case the work has violated any copyright material, and if any matter is sourced from anywhere, acknowledgement has to be given. WE HAVE A ZERO

Any such entry violating this provision will be disqualified forthwith, and will put at risk further participation in ZONASA activities of the entire student delegation from which they said violator is part of. All decisions in this matter will be binding on all authors which would be at the final and sole discretion of the JOURNALISM TROPHY Moderator, ZONASA Convention 2013. All entries will be the property of NASA Council, which will be free to utilize the same in any manner at any time, during or after the JOURNALISM TROPHY Competition, and the original author will have no claim on the same after the entry sent for the said competition. Entries should not have any mention of the college name or college code in the main write up. Entries may be subject to moderation.

STAGES:
The first three entries will be published in the ZONASA 2013 magazine. The first six entries author teams will have to participate in a competitive debate where each of the six elected will present and defend their essays in front of the audience of delegates and the moderator who will also be the essay competition judge.

CRITERIA FOR JUDGEMENT:


The strength and quality of the related argument. Soundness of research and understanding of area of the discussion. Quality of writing and overall relevance.

Entries to be submitted in both word file format and pdf format.
