Online Tests regulations ANNOUNCEMENT


Students who violate one of the following regulations (1-7) will receive a zero (0) for their tests and be required to leave the exam room. 1. Students must arrive at the assigned tests/examination site at least ten (10) minutes before the scheduled commencement of their tests. Those who are under from 1 minute to 10 minutes (or to 20 minutes for Reading 3 & 4) late are allowed to take the tests but have to write a letter of commitment. Those who are from 21 minutes late are NOT allowed to take the tests. 2. Students must present ONE of the following photo identification to the proctors before entering the exam lab: SaigonTech student ID, state ID card (Chung Minh Nhan Dan), drivers licence. Those who do not have any of these have to write a letter of commitment. 3. Students must not bring materials or electronic devices into the examination rooms. Unauthorized materials include, but are not limited to paper dictionaries, books, class notes, or aid sheets. Unauthorized electronic devices include, but are not limited to cell phones, laptops, calculators, electronic dictionaries, MP3 players, Personal Digital Assistants, pagers, Compact Disc Players, and Mini Disc Players. Dictionaries of all kinds are not allowed during the tests. 4. Students must not open any other windows on the screen EXCEPT the exam window. If they do so, they will be dismissed from the exam room. 5. Students must not log in by using other students accounts (username and password). If they do so, they will be dismissed from the exam room. 6. Students must not shut down or restart their computers without proctors permission. If they do so, they will be dismissed from the exam room. 7. Students must not communicate with other students in any manner whatsoever during the tests. If they do so, they will be dismissed from the exam room. NB: For any technical problems that prevent students from taking the exam on the scheduled days, students names and IDs will be recorded. Make-up exam will be announced later. For grade appeal, students must request the proctors to print out their tests and sign on each page of the tests before leaving the tests room right after knowing about their score. Failing to do so, students will lose their chance to appeal for grades. The signed tests will be checked by the General English Faculty and the students will get the results after 5 working days. If there is a blackout of more than 15 minutes during the exam, the proctors will allow the students to leave the room and ask them to return for a make-up exam informed later:
