How You Can Help

How can you help us to continue to create buzz this month? In order to generate media interest,
we need to localize our story ideas and we need your input. Specifically, we are looking for
information/student profiles highlighting:

• Students who had dramatic results in any of our Sylvan courses, especially in math
• Enrollment trends
o Boys versus girls
o Demand for math tutoring
o Increase in SAT prep classes for the October testing date

As noted in previous newsletters, please identify families in your center(s) and ask them if they
would be willing to speak to reporters - should an opportunity arise. If they agree to be
interviewed, please send us the following information:

• Parent’s name
• Parent’s home and office telephone numbers
• Parent’s email address
• Student’s name and age
• The time period that the student was enrolled in the course
• A completed parental consent form

Please fax your profile forms to 410.843.8057 or email this information to

public.relations@educate.com.

In addition to families, we are always eager to showcase our Sylvan franchisees and center
directors/directors of education who are interested in being interviewed to help raise awareness
of their locations. In all cases, we will provide briefing documents to ensure you are comfortable
addressing likely questions. Please email your personal stories to public.relations@educate.com
or contact us at 1.800.627.4276 at extension 8928.
